((I can't? Find? You? Main? So I'm bringing this back I guess)) I had a dream I beat the shit out of boba fett because he kicked a clone in the shoulder.
((that’s weird? my main still exists i promise))
...I understand that you are capable but I would also sleep better at night if you didn’t pick fights with Boba Fett. He may still be young, but he learned well.
Tuskine was sitting in a dark room wearing sunglasses when she heard the clinic door open and close. "Back there," Someone sighed and walked towards her. "I told you I was fine Aayla,"
“The clinic said otherwise,” Aayla responded with a restrained sigh. Under her breath, she mutters, “I’m giving Harris a piece of my mind, suspended or not.”

“Well, we can’t all live in a giant temple,“ Tuskine joked, “Alright here we go,” she stopped in front of a door and patted for her keys, “So let me go in first to make sure everything is fine and then- have you seen my keys?”
“No,” Aayla answered, pausing for a moment to check her memory. As far as she had seen, Tuskine hadn’t lost them so they were probably still on her.
“You know, somehow this is not how I pictured visiting your place the first time,” she said, with a laugh to show it wasn’t meant rudely.
Tuskine waved, “Now we get a story to tell,” she sighed, “my neighbors are gonna hate me… Cover your ears,” covering her own she kicked the door and yelled “D3 GET THE DOOR!”
Abruptly clapping her hands over her ears, Aayla glanced at Tuskine with a look that was equal parts quizzical and concerned. She didn’t step back- she had been in too many combat situations to be spooked by this. “Does this happen often?” she mouthed to Tuskine.
Tuskine shrugged then kicked the door again, softer this time, ‘just a moment, who is it?’ Came D3’s voice. “It’s Tuskine. Oh and one guest,” the droid was programmed to restrain anybody that wasn’t her or recognized by her. It was a safety precaution but also a liability.
“You have a security droid in your apartment?” Aayla knew that Tuskine had a droid for work, but she had assumed the droid stayed at work. Perhaps it was just because of the battle droids, but it made Aayla a little uneasy.
“Yeah, it’s a safety precaution, it’s either this or live in private housing. Luckily for me, the two of us get along,” Tuskine turned back and her small smile faded, “Oh… Shit- I didn’t even think- I can get ‘em to stay out of sight…” How hadn’t she thought of that? Oh hells, what if it was one of the models the separatists used? It couldn’t be, right? There’s no way they get theirs off markets…
"It's alright," Aayla assured Tuskine quickly. She rubbed the back of her neck for a moment, reminding herself this was a security droid. Precaution, protection. "Different functions. I'm glad there's someone else keeping an eye on you."

Aayla couldn’t help but sigh at that. She followed Tuskine up at a slower pace, both to keep an eye on her and because it would be a shame for her sudden energy to be for a loss. “Yes, totally fine.”
When she reached the top of the staircase she grinned and leaned against the wall, “Still got it!” Nevermind that her head was throbbing and her stomach hurt. She’d get over it.
“I know how to admit defeat,” Aayla said, smiling as she finished her way up the stairs. She glanced down the hall, wondering what Tuskine’s apartment would look like.
When her head stopped spinning Tuskine pushed off the wall and pointed towards the door to her apartment, “it’s right down here, it’s a little small when you first walk in but then it widens up,”
"Much less confusing than the walk to my place," Aayla muttered, more to herself than Tuskine. She raised an eye row at Tuskine in concern as they walked down the hall.

“You look fine,” Aayla assured her as they entered the building. “You’re too…concussed to look shady, anyway.”
“I’m going to take that as a compliment,” Tuskine lead them around a corner and up the stairs, “Ugh I forgot how long it takes when you can’t skip steps,”
“…I could carry you,” Aayla offered. It would be faster and would prevent any unfortunate accidents.
Tuskine whirled around so fast her vision spun, “No! Absolutely not! I can walk fine!” She walked up the stairs with a [pathetic] determination. “I’ll beat you up there just watch!”
Aayla couldn’t help but sigh at that. She followed Tuskine up at a slower pace, both to keep an eye on her and because it would be a shame for her sudden energy to be for a loss. “Yes, totally fine.”

“I can’t wait,” Tuskine stood up slowly to keep from getting dizzy then offered her arm, I already paid the guy so I guess we can go,“
“Your place or mine?” Aayla asked as she took Tuskine’s arm to help steady her. She paused. “…I don’t know the way to your place, actually. And I would rather not force you to navigate now.”
“No, no, you’ve already hosted me, it’s my turn. Besides I live across the street it’s not far,” Tuskine gestured vaguely at the apartment buildings a couple blocks away.
Aayla couldn’t help but smile at Tuskine’s insistence. “Very well,” she said with a nod, beginning to walk to the buildings Tuskine had pointed to.
“There’s a new family moving in downstairs so we’ll have to take the stairs, but my place is only on the second floor so it won’t be too bad,” Tuskine’s head throbbed but she wasn’t dizzy. “Oh turn here it’s quicker,”
“Stairs are fine.” Aayla’s lip twitched into a smile and she laughed, adding, “You saw the Jedi Temple and all those stairs.” She was trying not to move too fast, unsure of how bad the concussion was.
“Yeah, but those were… Nice stairs. These are… Not nice stairs. Thy are a lot quicker though, and the quicker we get up the quicker I can get something to drink,” She readjusted her sunglasses, “Do I look shady? With the sunglasses and no sun?”
"You look fine," Aayla assured her as they entered the building. "You're too...concussed to look shady, anyway."
