PROJECT HAIL MARY CROSSOVER WITH HLVRAI.
Okay so don't shoot me but I thought that like, Gordon is dropped out of a portal into the Mary right after the end of the Chuck-E-Cheese birthday party in hl1vrai. And finally, he has a NORMAL person to talk to in Grace. Even better, Gordon is also a scientist so he can try and offer some help to Grace and Rocky (who he is relieved to find isn't trying to kill them, I feel Gordon would kinda act the same with Rocky as he did with the gnome in the Alyx playthrough lol). Gordon's theoretical physics knowledge *might* be able to help them with obtaining the taumoeba and possibly even getting back to earth faster? Especially with Rocky's engineering and material science knowledge. Things go well for a while, though Gordon's really sad to hear Grace was sent on a one-way trip into space and expects to die.
And then The Skeleton Appears. And Gordon realizes he is NOT free from the horrors of his world. He starts hallucinating Source Physics-style weird shit happening. And then it starts becoming real, because Grace and Rocky are seeing it. Gordon is convinced he's cursed. From there I'm not sure, it'd be REALLY interesting if Coomer also showed up and got to grapple with suddenly being a real person (maybe he'd freak out about the void of space outside the Mary, thinking it's the skybox and they're still in a game).
Idk! Honestly I just think it'd be really funny to see Wayne's specific version of Gordon and the phm boys interacting. Oh and don't even get me STARTED on if Benrey showed up, Grace might have a stroke having to deal with him
