Though he insists you're impressive (and pretty), you're rather clumsy, and keep getting stuck with him. A friendship blooms, and you're the first to show him love, and that his efforts are highly appreciated even by other objects.
This fic is so wonderful. Hector learns to love himself as well as the reader within the love they find in each other. A tender must read!
