mildly controversial take but
it's funny because i used to defend the way each of the characters acted in stellarlune but now that i'm rereading it, i realize how weird they actually did act towards each other. to the point that i wonder if any of them are real friends
first, NOBODY standing up for sophie when she burned down the storehouse. 'oh no now the neverseen are coming for us!!' girl what do you think they were doing the past eight and a half books? chasing sunshine and rainbows?
then sophie being so mean to dex while hailing him? like i get that keefe just ran away but that's your best friend. maybe stop pushing for answers when he starts crying
tam not defending anyone except glimmer. like his entire role in the book was just glimmer defender. him staying quiet while everyone was confronting sophie and only speaking up when rayni was mentioned was one thing. what do you mean he half SMILED when everyone thought forkle was about to scold her?? 'glad i'm not you'??
while i'm on the topic of tam can we also talk about how everyone acts like he's been changed by the neverseen and he's evil now?? like did nobody speak up for him?? biana defended tam for the EXACT same reason multiple times in legacy but now that he's actually back she's silent??
okay where was biana anyway
also why was linh so mean. i think she definitely had the right to be mad and confused since her brother was literally kidnapped by the neverseen, and also because i think tam and linh have a cough cough unhealthy relationship. but it felt so excessive sometimes like wdym you’re glaring at SOPHIE for defending glimmer? i also hated how she and stina became close despite how mean stina was being to sophie and the others
oh and fitz. thats all im going to say
(you kissed keefe? you didn't even kiss me!!)
thank you for coming to my ted talk
