Take Me Away || Maddisyn & Ada
Almost like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders, Maddy relaxed back down onto Ada’s bed and looked up at the roof above her. Her bottle of booze tightly gripped in one hand and the other hand resting on her stomach, Maddy let out a soft hum. She listened to Ada speak, hearing small hints of hatred in her voice.
"I know this entire town is a hell hole… But why all of a sudden have you turned on it?" she asked taking another swig and leaning back up on her elbows. "I mean I have never once heard you complain about this place? What changed your mind?" She asked genuinly.
Ada laughed at Maddisyn's question. "All of a sudden? Please, Mads. I don't remember a time where I didn't want to leave Portland." She said, throwing Maddy a look before taking about swig of her drink. The inside of her mouth was beginning to tingle slightly, and the alcohol burned slightly as it trickled down Ada's throat. "I always complain about Portland; you must never be around when I do." Ada said with a smirk.
"It's basically a dead-end. There could be potential, but...I don't see it. The faster I am out of here, the better." She said, downing another mouthful. She suddenly stood, looking over at Maddisyn. "I'm starving; I've got some chips and shit in the kitchen, if you're hungry." She said, strechting her arms up toward the ceiling as she waited for an answer from Maddisyn.
