How does this keep happening
I’ve talked to people about it in depth
My friends have diagnosed me with
Or some neat compact idea
That describes what they think is happening
But how can they be so sure when even I do not know what’s happening
There are things inside of me that I still don’t understand
Emotions I can’t even begin to fathom
As close as I can tell, I feel mostly sad
That I will not experience the beautiful things this world has to offer
So I take the experiences of others -
And I live vicariously through strangers I may never see again
Everyone has seen something I have not
Which means I can learn from everyone
My best friend suggested I may be depressed after my ex and I broke up
I couldn’t have been more relieved
Someone told me eating disorders can form when you’re trying your hardest to be in control of something
But I’m more in control of my life than I have ever been before

To literally every person I’ve ever loved
The first time I do drugs will be the last time I do anything else
