Several months ago I visited my grandfather - I took his portrait and recorded his voice. It’s the last time that will ever happen. Today my Papa Hank passed away.

He attempted to sit up in bed, and either out of sheer delirium or certain purpose, he whispered, “I need to get to work.”  He lied back down and began to take the last of his living breaths. 

I’m so thankful I got to spend time with him and take his picture. My friend Theron Humphrey (This Wild Idea) has instilled a very important lesson within me and that is that these images will only become more valuable with time. I urge you to sit with, listen, watch, study, learn, love, and cook with your grandparents and every once in a while record their voice and take their picture. You never know how soon that image will become more valuable.

This demo reel showcases some of the most recent films I have worked on.  All stereo conversion and stereo comp work was done using both proprietary and commercial systems.  Roto, Clean Plate, and Stereo Paint were done in Adobe After Effects and The Foundry's Nuke.
