Ugh, Vox is just too adorable here I swear!!! ^_^<3<3<3 Also, except for when he's displayed his power, it looks like we really only see electricity flow between Vox's antennas whenever it involves something Alastor-related with it being smooth and gentle here while the other times are more jagged and faster I believe, which makes sense given his emotional state in those scenarios, but it's just interesting that I don't think I've seen him do that with Valentino, making it further shows how much Alastor means to Vox if he's giving off visual cues whenever he's thinking about him. ;)

I originally thought of this as romantic, but decided to write it so it could be either platonic or romantic!

Trevor sits contently on a gingham picnic blanket, looking up at the sky and the clouds. They swirl in many different ways, feathery, soft, sharp, fading, almost always moving, changing. The texture of the warm cloth under his bare legs makes him forget that he's dead until his fingers go through the blades of grass. He crosses his legs, and looks over at the figure next to him. Abby. He smiles, chuckles, and looks away.

“Oh! Hey buddy!” A voice calls, and he twists around to see Pete. “Whatcha doing out here Trevor?”

“Hey Pete, just hanging, y'know,” he answers, gesturing to Abby, who's laying on her stomach and kicking her feet as she scrolls on her phone. Pete smiles, happiness practically beaming out of him.

“Mind if I join you?” He asks, and it's almost impossible to say no to him. He shrugs, as Pete lays down on the blanket. He looks away to the trees, glistening in the golden glow of the sun.

“Y’know -” he starts, looking back over at Pete, before noticing the soft sounds of snoring that starts. He smiles, as his face flushes, and looks away. He lays down, closing his eyes, and settles his head on the blanket.

Also, if Alberta’s real name is Esther Greene, isn’t she literally Jewish?? Idk why the episode never brought that up lol.

I think it's really interesting how the show clearly paints Vox as an obsessive, creepy stalker in love with Alastor but somehow avoids the trope of obsessive-creepy-stalker-in-love.

In not one instance do we see Vox going the typical stalker route of "You and I belong together. I'm in love with you. You're meant to be mine. We deserve each other. You might not see it, but I'll make you." And it's so refreshing to see because I think we would have all been additionally icked out by that type of behaviour more than all the violence and murder Vox did. There is such a clear difference in Vox's obsession with Alastor compared to Valentino's obsession with Angel Dust. I think that's why so many aspec people latch on to radiostatic because Vox is obsessed with this man to an unhealthy degree but doesn't treat him as an inferior or someone who doesn't know his own mind and therefore Vox needs to "show him" and in the process disregard his asexuality. Vox doesn't do that. He's so taken by Alastor that he doesn't really need sex or Alastor’s reciprocity. He just needs Alastor around. All of his stalking and obsessing is because he wants to prove himself to Alastor, not to earn Alastor’s "love."
