that one scene in the raven king where henry wants blue to go with him somewhere in a car but she's like "no i have a strong hating-rich-boys-especially-raven-ones reputation here and people are looking at me", so he's like "fair enough" and pretends to dramatically have a fight with her so her reputation upholds, and drives away. and then equally rich and equally raven boy gansey arrives and stops right next to her. easily top 10 funniest scenes in the entire series

sometimes (a lot of the time) i think about just how desperately, how fatally Kavinsky wanted Ronan.

yeah, Kavinsky was an asshole but he was also a teenage boy with the power of a god, a terribly lonely boy with a gaping wound in his heart and only venom to fill it.

he must’ve been so certain he was the only one of his kind in the world, a nearly extinct animal, a freak of nature born to burn too bright too fast, and then he found out Ronan also had the power.

that maybe, just maybe he’s found his equal, someone who, if not stabilize him, could be a catalyst. someone who finally understood.

someone who’d either burn with him, or help him burn down everything else.

he must’ve been so lonely, so bitter, so insecure. so passionate, so fierce, so bold.

he was so sure Ronan was the only thing he’d need. the missing piece.

without him, this world was a nightmare.

because what use are dreams without another dreamer to share them with.

something about Ronan not being able to even bear the thought of returning to the field where he’s spent days dreaming up cars with Kavinsky - just the two of them and early summer and loneliness and rage and bad choices and the strange, unstable comfort with being with another dreamer - almost a year later is just killing me.
