I vividly remember a specific scene in one of the Dreamer Trilogy books, where Ronan dreams (and he is his kid self in the dream) and he's accompanied by monsters/creatures to either his funeral or his birthday (I don't remember which of the two it was or if it was both), and there is another boy that holds his hand (lots of theories that it's Adam)

Does anyone remember which chapter this was and which book? 😭

Thinking about Adam fucking Ronan over the arm of a couch and Ronan’s brain being blissfully empty for once and him just being in his body in a good way and not having to think about always being a fuckup or how he makes everyone around him worry about him constantly or about the gnawing emptiness in the pit of his stomach that he feels 24/7 that tells him he’ll never be good enough, he’ll never be a real person who can do real person things, he’ll never be worthy of the kind of love he wants

And meanwhile Adam’s internal monologue is that he’s ruined on a level where there’s no saving him, that there’s something fundamentally wrong with him compared to other people and that deep down other people can instinctively tell and he’s spitefully, insanely jealous of Ronan who got to grow up loved and strange and wild and beautiful, making his beautiful glowing things as if light and life cluster around him, and part of Adam wants to ruin Ronan, to bring him down to his level so that Adam won’t be alone, wants him to be worse than Adam so that Adam has someone to despise

Anyone who knows me well knows that Hollanov and abortion are basically my two main special interests, and I have been fundraising for abortion funds in the midwest for over a decade. What's NOT unique is hiding reblogs behind separate "chains." That just makes navigating this site even worse. Not only that, but it kills engagement.

Back from a month off tumblr, whoa!!! I deleted it while I was traveling, then decided I wouldn’t redownload until I finished Ronan’s tattoo. And here I am now.

This is the longest I have ever worked on something in my life, I’m honestly shocked at myself for seeing it through. It’s been a good challenge and I’ve learned a lot but at last I am free⛓️‍💥🙌

I started the design with descriptors from the books and expanded from there. The most important thing was to include a reference to every important person in Ronan’s life; the deer represent all the Lynches, and the others are scattered throughout. Overall, the right side pertains to The Raven Cycle and the left to The Dreamer Trilogy. I definitely took some creative liberties based on the implication that Ronan occasionally dreams up changes to the tattoo (it was originally paid for and done by hand). Close ups ↓

No matter where you begin the story, it’s about unconditional love.

Okay so Adam is canonically hot right, not just Ronan talks about it, basically every pov has mentioned it. I feel like Adam will come home to visit Ronan at The Barns the same time as Blue, Henry, and Gansey do and they all have a little spit take at seeing Adam again.

Ronan hasn’t seen Adam in a month or two but he is still in shock of Adam the first time after a long time. Adam doesn’t look that different from his last visit, but he’s clearly grown into himself. His hair is quite a bit longer and his skin is warm and freckled from eating outside in the sun. Ronan, like he always does, falls directly in love with Adam all over again.

Blue and Gansey are both very struck by how much their friend can change in 9 months. Adam isn’t a gangly teenager anymore, he’s grown up. His hair is a lot longer than they remember and his eyes seem less troubled than in high school. He gets off his motorcycle and smiles at them and starts to walk over. Gansey is taken aback by how happy he looks, it wasn’t like he wasn’t happy with them but being away from Henrietta clearly took a heavy weight off his shoulders.

Henry one the other hand is very distracted by watching his friends drool over Adam. He understands why, Adam is tall, tan, with pretty hair, and smart eyes. Henry, however, doesn’t really feel the draw to anyone even if it was pretty boy Adam Parrish. He did find it funny to watch Ronan stare and panic and Blue and Gansey try to place this new Adam.

Adam honestly knows what is happening and is basking in it. He had been sat down by his college roommate and had it explained to him. The girls that talked to him were not just taking pity on him and the boys who flirted with him were not bullying him. His friends basically sat him down and told him he was hot and needed a self esteem boost. Maybe it had worked because he was definitely peacocking as he walked up to his favorite people in his favorite place.
