Adara couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Diego’s wink, though she could hardly hide her grin. There was no doubt his humor could rival few in the camp, though his combat skills were another thing entirely. Hefting her gastraphetes in her arms, Adara admired the way the sunlight streaming in through the canopy of trees reflected off of the freshly polished surface. She didn’t have magic powers like he did, but she had a sick weapon and the gods knew she could use it. She supposed this might even be a fair fight. “Alright, Diego. Impress me.”Â
