The Meaning of ADDAMSROCK: The Inspiration behind the Brand
Etymologically, Adam means Earth.
According to the bible, Adam was the first man.

In high school, my style was punk, emo, and a bit scene. I loved self expression and all it had to offer. I would tease my hair, wear all black, and admire Tripp NYC, Hot Topic, and of course: Spencer's Gifts. I was also heavily into anime and Japanese culture as well. All this made me know that someday, I wanted to start my own brand in homage to these places and concepts.
What was it that finally pushed me to start: Villain Arts Tattoo Convention.
I was so inspired by all the tattoo artist, performers, vendors, and the way they worked so intentionally to create a unique piece of art on someones body, or how a vendor contributed to the convention with merch so that if you weren't getting a tattoo (this time) you had something to show you were there.
Being there also reminded me how I used to do pen tatts back in high school as well. I did whole sleeve's on my left forearm and most of my peers thought I'd become a tattoo artist for sure in the future and honestly? I still hope to do that at some point.
But for now, I thought to myself.. "How can I create a tattoo without using skin as a canvas quite yet? Hmm.." and
With a few surprises in store.
