It is, but we don't live in a bubble.

Idk I'm having a really hard time reading the news everyday here in Trump's America, and having to think about how younger generations are turning to the right, and how the culture's getting more and more toxic, and how difficult it will be to turn us back from where we are now instead of diving deeper into the muck. Taylor doesn't seem concerned with any of that. And I hope that's a lovely life she's living up there, but it feels detached from mine, and sadly that makes me feel detached from her and her art.

Like for someone with you'd think massive amounts of empathy, she really just cannot get into the head of what it's like to be a regular person living in trump's world or a mid-tier pop star forced to stand next to taylor swift
