she was born 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲-𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 years ago, she is a 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 who lives in 𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 as the 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬, and is the high priestess of 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐚'𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧. she looks an awful lot like 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚.

Adelita was born into a family of incredibly strong witches, whose blood line can be traced all the way back to the battle against the beast. The pressure, even as a third sibling – who had no chance of assuming power - was considerable. Adelita was expected to be a powerful spell caster, a maternal influence on a coven that could never be hers, as well as maintaining a scrupulous reputation within the Opulence community as an individual of impeccably high moral standing.
While Adelita’s two older brothers were kind, generous, and warm witches who strived to care for their coven at their own expense, Adelita could not help but see them for what they were: often naïve, arrogant, and closed minded. Unlike her siblings, Adelita was clever, objective, and prudent. While her brothers thought only of maintaining peace and order, Adelita saw where the cracks lay in the coven’s foundation. The youngest witch could sense there were witches in their coven with dark magic, who didn’t follow the same laws that their coven lived by. Adelita, like her ancestors before her, knew that soon trouble would come, and that her brothers’ negligence would cost them all greatly.
The disappearance of the Flores brothers was a huge hit to Helka’s Own coven. Two witches primed for assuming control of the coven were suddenly gone, vanished into thin air with no explanation. The mystery surrounding their disappearances has been investigated on multiple occasions and yet no witch, vampire, werewolf, or other supernatural creature could ascertain why the town’s most powerful and respected witches had miraculously disappeared.
With the coven’s full support behind her, Adelita assumed the position as High Priestess to Helka’s Own, a position that years later, she maintains. The witch is a good High Priestess, she takes care of her own with a passion, and when necessary, exercises the great power that was afforded her by the familial blood running through her veins. No one can fault Adelita as the coven’s High Priestess, though of course there are rumours whispered amongst those who found themselves excommunicated from the coven under Adelita’s reign, that she is not as she appears; she is ruthless, cunning, and cruel. But none of these rumours can be substantiated, and Adelita’s record remains squeaky clean, professionally, personally, and most importantly as High Priestess.
Adelita’s public persona is benevolent, charitable, and silver tongued, though in her personal life she is very closed off. Adelita only maintains a very close-knit circle of confidants, she does not forgive, and does not forget. She is a driven by her loyalty to her community and her people, so can be merciless when delivering punishments to those who break the rules, hurt her kind, or challenge her authority.

Like her great grandmother before her, Adelita has the ability to consume magical, bewitched and even cursed items, rendering its magic mute. As of yet, Adelita has not come across a single bewitched item that she could not eat and absorb its magic without consequences. Though due to her smooth oversight of the coven and continued philanthropic efforts within Opulence, she has hardly been challenged since taking over.
