hi do have toonboom harmony ? i need some advice a bout lipsync wonder if you can help? i want to lip sync with charater, do i have have to use to the nodes? as my charater is not a pupet and all drawing could i synic it with my drawn charater? or is eaier to use auto lip sync? sorry so manny questions i have toom boom preium

hello!! yeah I use Harmony! I have never used Auto Lip-sync, and have done all my syncing by hand so I don’t know much about that tool - you don’t need the node viewer so that’s ok! I’ve done it without. 

All of my animations and mouth pieces are done with puppets & the different mouth shapes are either set up with unique drawing substitutions or manipulated with deformers. With that old Sunset Shimmer animation I did, I didn’t use drawings and just animated the mouth on my own to the audio based off what I heard and scrubbed through the timeline.

I have heard that auto lip sync is good for a starting point though! If you want to use that I would recommend trying it out and then fixing up the mouth animation to line up correctly if it’s off at all - which is a possibility with all auto-generated things. I hope this helped!
