Knowing it was inappropriate for her to be in here, she swayed with uncertainty, staying light on her toes to run lest he suddenly wake to find her creepily staring at him from the doorway. In a hardly audible tone, she hissed at his sleeping form. "Malik. Hey. Hey, Malik."

With no response - at least not one fast enough for her taste - she stepped into his room and looked around as she considered using her foot to prod him awake. After deciding that she didn't want her ankle to potentially end up broken, she picked up a book and stretched an entire arm's length out, poking at his shoulder with the corner of it.
