Good morning just really quickly wanted to make a little post here for the antis who think that they're doing a good job and protecting their faves.

People can ship whatever (legal) ships they want. They can create any fanart for it or stories they want when they are tagged properly.

You are the one making your fave uncomfortable by shoving the content in their face and saying 'Hey look what people are doing'.

This kind of shipping has been around since fucking forever. Back in the day band fanfics were like the wildfire of the internet. They were EVERYWHERE and yes, our favorite bands thought it was weird but here's the thing though.

It only got weird because people kept sending it to them.

You guys have to learn the line between fan domain and the creators. Some people have no problem crossing into the fan domain and even liking it, see for example the Game Grumps where they have said that they would constantly go on tumblr and reddit to see the ship stuff and loved it.

But, you will also have the creators that don't like seeing it and that is perfectly okay. But if you think that you trying to police others and tell them what they can and can't do, showing the creators what fanfiction or ship fanart people are making, posting hate in the ship tags and other dumb stuff. If you think all of that is helping, it's not.

Writers and artists are the most resilient fuckers okay. We don't care.

Try looking at content you enjoy instead of scrolling through ship tags that you know are going to aggravate you.

Your fave doesn't want you showing that stuff to them, your fave doesn't see you as their little puppy dog. Stop seeking their special attention like that.
