             he’d been looking over what little the  BRIGHTEST MINDS  had given him, what little they had allowed him to take from the conference room. they seemed protective and vicious, shirts unbuttoned and undershirts stained with sweat and grease.  but it’d been forgotten when his name had slipped from the other room.

                ❛  they’ve been working night and day. they haven’t left that conference room. it reeks of a college dorm.  ❜  he thinks for a moment before advising him.   ❛   I CAN GIVE THEM AN INCENTIVE ?   ❜   he’d heard the brief conversation between the Chief of Staff and Mr. Underwood, they’d officially hit their wall. scrambling to come up with their answer. and when he’d called his name, he’d been at his side with a hopeful answer. 

         ❛    i’m sure we can get them to finish within the week if we keep loading them with carbs. pizza, soda. whatever. point is, we’ll get the bill done. i’d say two days, three at the max. and that’s being hopeful, Frank.   ❜

I’m at the point in s1 where Frank makes a fool of himself on television. And this is where I’m picking up because I remember turning it off because it’s just so fucking embarrassing I couldn’t watch it for the third time. I get secondhand embarrassment from it like... GOD DAD.........

     Tom is not threatened by Doug Stamper, even though there’s a small part of him in the back of his mind that feels like he should be. Doug is nothing but a GUARD DOG to the Underwoods, trying to make sure Tom doesn’t step a toe out of line. “I belong to no one.” Tom says in response, though he is not sure that statement is true. He’s willingly given himself to Claire (and Frank); he’s already become LOYAL. “But it’s cute that you think I’m afraid of you.”

Frank had the unnatural ability to cut through the heavy fog and find the lost boy pressed to the pavement. his first name had been a shock to the system. his first name had become a term of affection, endearment. ‘ STAMPER ‘ had left him as his employee, ‘ DOUG ‘ and he had felt like a son. and what had passed for affection in Frank Underwood had always soothed the fire beneath his skin. he had mimicked his superior, crossing his arms tight over his chest. feeling the rise and fall of each breath as it escaped from his lungs in a slow, tedious rhythm. THEY WOULD NOT LOSE TWENTY-SIXTEEN. and the tragedy that befell them would only spur them onward, a sharp kick to the belly of a horse. his eyes had been downcast, the mention of the president’s beloved secret serviceman left a hollow in the middle of his chest.

WAIT SO. since doug was the one who threw the brick. NO WONDER FRANK WAS SO FUCKING PISSED OFF THAT MEECHUM FIRED HIS GUN. HE COULD’VE SHOT DOUG. i always thought it was weird that Frank was abnormally angry about that? IM YELLING MEECHUM YOU ALMOST SHOT ME !!!!
