topic : The Philippines’ current situation.
A note before anyone starts reading, if you’re a DDS, please unfollow me right this instant. I will not condone the people who still support the Philippines’ corrupt government after them doing the bare minimum, if not, NOTHING to help the people who’re in need of immediate help.
If you see this in your dash, please help this reach the media attention!! Our people in Cagayan and Isabela needs our help. The homes in low-lying areas are now fully submerged. Despite the weather, these provinces are still drowning due to opening the gates of Magat dam.
What is happening in the Philippines?
Not even a week ago, the country faced another strong storm typhoon called Ulysses. Our country, specifically Cagayan and Isabela provinces is in need of help. Many people are shouting for their lives (and their relatives’) for rescuers and assistance. In the midst of the people yelling for help, our government is doing nothing but telling the people to wait.
In addition to this, they haven’t allowed some rescuers to come and save the people as they said it “wasn’t authorized” and that the people who’rein need of instant saving haven’t been given a swab testing which leaves hundreds of people still stranded on their roofs with no other choice than to wait for help.
The water has already gone up to 15 FEET making the people unable to cross for safety/help. There are hundreds upon thousands of lives being taken away because of all this, yet our government chooses to do the bare minimum.
I am asking for you, for everyone who sees this post to reblog and share to as much people as possible. This has only been given light to yesterday when someone made an awareness post and still to this day, there’s only so little media coverage being given to this. Below are donations drives, caard links, and many more.
