Phoebe held him a little tighter for a moment and just let herself feel that he was really there. And then it was also for the relief that he was there. She had missed him so much over the two years that she had been in Kismet Harbor. He had always been there for her and even while they were apart, that didn't change, but it was nice having him here. "So you just show up and expect food, huh?" She teased him a bit. "When did you get here? Why didn't you tell me? How long are you here for?" @adriandvieira

Hearing all the questions that left his best friend's mouth made Adrian smile, arms snaking around Phoebe as she hugged him a little tighter. A couple pats on her back before she pulled away, teasing him abut food. "You know me. Always eager to enjoy food where I can." Something he was a lot more serious about these days then he'd been when they were growing up. "Plus, isn't there some saying that says the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach or something?" he questioned, eyes focusing on his best friend. "I just got here a couple days ago. Moved here with Nina a few days ago." he shrugged. "Took a job as a hospice nurse at Coastal Haven and the pay was too good to say no." he shrugged, looking back at her. "So I'm here as long as I keep this job or unless Mom needs me to move back home, but, figured I'd spread my wings a little and finally check out this place you've talked so much about." @phoebecarver

Hazal nodded her head, "Understandable. It's worth trying when you've got the time." She told the other, feeling a little bad that it wasn't closer. Not that she could have done anything about that. Her head gave way to a nod and she smiled at him. "Sure, it's not too far." She smiled at him, pausing for a beat as she started walking. "I'm sorry, I'm Hazal. I don't even think I introduced myself to you at all." Her lips were drawn upward, almost in an embarrassed kind of smile. "I'm a baker down at Seaside Sweets if you like treats." @adriandvieira

At this point, Adrian already had his phone in his hand, putting the name of the restaurant in his notes app so that he could check it out as soon as he were in that area of town. Shaking his head as he simultaneously put his phone back in his pocket he offered her a smile. "Thanks for the recommendation. Made a note for future me to go check it out." he stated, looking at the other before he began following her. It was then that he offered her another smile, out of habit extending his right hand to shake hers, though paused, shifting to his left hand, his right tucked back at his side. "Adrian." he greeted. "It's nice to meet you, Hazal." Yet, as she mentioned she worked at the bakery in town he let his eyes widen. "I'm a sucker for some sweets." he stated. "I'll have to come check it out. Seaside Sweets." he repeated. @hazalxalpman

"It's actually over in Emerald Mist." It wasn't that far of a hike to the restaurant, if one were in a vehicle. "It's not exactly walking distance from here." She admitted to him, a soft smile touching her lips. "But, Wingman's Pub does have some good fish and chips if you wanted to forgo the fresh veggies and make it fried fish." Hazal offered to him. "One wouldn't think a dive bar has something good like that, but it's pretty underrated if you ask me." The brunette lifted her shoulders into a shrug. "And that's just up the street here." @adriandvieira

"Oh." Adrian paused, though he would be honest he barely knew where that was. He'd been, sure, but he didn't know how to get there from here without his GPS, even though he grew up navigating the busy streets of New York it was a cakewalk compared to this town in his mind. "If it's not within walking distance I'll save that for another day." he admitted. He was on a time crunch after all and he hadn't exactly been making great use of his time thus far. "You're correct though, I would've never thought much about a dive bar having something like that, but you seem like you know what you're talking about, so, that has to mean something." he admitted. "I'll give it a try." he nodded. "Care to lead the way?" @hazalxalpman

He sighed, "I think sometimes they call anything a full moon now," with how crazy it could get. "It's alright; better to be here in case then not when they need it." he had people call wolf before but it was better to come in case the wolf really did come. "I've noticed and i've hinted at her that she is not my thing…" as he was one called here a lot as he was newer on the team so a lot of the not urgent calls he was sent on. "But it's good man " He didn't mind the call. "I need to get out of the station," he chuckled a moment. "but sure" he felt like he needed something to pick him up "I still have a few hours left in my shift" it was far from over for River. @adriandvieira

"Sounds like it." Adrian nodded, eyes shifting as he kept an eye on the surroundings. "Does that happen in this town a lot?" he questioned. Growing up in New York there was typically chaos on every corner, and the running joke was that it was a 'New York thing'. But he was no stranger to the phrase 'the full moon's coming' which he seemed to hear and live a lot since becoming a hospice nurse here. "She's stubborn, listening isn't her strong suit." Adrian laughed. "I'm just glad you guys care enough to keep coming out here even when it's never for a reason." he sighed. As the other admitted coffee or something would be great Adrian nodded, taking a step towards the door and holding it over. "I'll lead the way to the kitchen, you can help yourself." @riverxjackson

"Doesn't that sign stand for 'men's bathroom'? Wouldn't I be the weirdo poking my head in there just to possibly see some rando's twig and berries?" Murphy sighed, stating, "Fuckin' A, move," before pushing past him to crane her neck through the bathroom door. Her eyes fixated on the janitor mopping the floors, his headphones in so he couldn't hear her. Glancing back at Adrian, who was practically doing the potty dance, Murphy rolled her eyes at him. "If you can get past the good ole janitor in there, then you're golden. But I'd love to see you try."

It took a moment for Adrian to catch onto what the other was saying. Not the 'men's room' comment, the curse that escaped her lips, or the way she pushed past him to check the men's bathroom for him despite the fact he were in fact, a man. He smirked, finally letting the words she'd spoken sink in, causing him to shake his head. "Thank you for doing that." he smiled, taking a step towards the women's bathroom, the one he'd actually been talking about. "But I meant the women's." he stated, pointing towards the opposite on with a sign indicating it was a women's bathroom. "I should've specified; I wanted to make sure there were no women in there so I could sneak in, go quickly and then get out, but on second thought maybe I should just try to sneak past Mr. Clean in there since you did all that work for me." @murphywindsor

Phoebe was doing some shopping in the farmer's market when she heard the familiar voice. It surprised her to say the least because she never expected to see Adrian in Kismet Harbor, and part of her worried it was a hallucination. A good one, sure, but she always hated being in public and hearing the voices. Turning slowly, she looked at him and widened her eyes. "Adrian?" She asked and studied him a moment to really focus on if this was real. She reached out and poked him and then smiled. "Oh, my god." She said and wrapped her arms around him. "What are you doing here?" @adriandmaldonado

Feeling the other poke him - testing to see if he was real - made the other chuckle, nodding. "Yes, I'm real." he nodded. Extending his arms to wrap around her in a hug, he held onto her for a moment, almost as if he were also trying to convince himself that she were actually in front of him and that they were in the same town again. And that they weren't going to have to go the rest of their adult life as long distance besties. It was only when they pulled away that he let his gaze meet hers for a second, his smile widening as he released her. "Find anything good yet? I'm starving. Was hoping I could have dinner at your place." he winked, joking. Though, he knew that she knew that he'd happily have a meal with her if she wanted him to. @phoebecarver

Hazal stopped mid stride as she heard someone call to her. A warm smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "Well, if you want something like that," she hummed her lips in thought, "that sounds like something Neptune Oyster would excel in." And she knew that they did. "They've probably got the best seafood in all of Oregon but really, I think it just helps that we're so close to the ocean. We don't have to wait days for anything. It's all very fresh." @adriandmaldonado

Listening as the other seemed to be able to give him an answer immediately. It was something he admired; though he shouldn't have been too shocked. He'd certainly been the same way when he'd been in New York. The second someone needed a recommendation, he'd been the first one to give the name of his favorite place. "Neptune Oyster." he repeated. "Is that close to here?" he questioned, though, he could easily just look it up on his phone. And probably would as soon as he wasn't in the presence of someone else. He wasn't going to be rude and pull his phone out of his pocket when someone had actually taken a moment out of their day to help him. "I'm still learning this town so I honestly don't even know where I am right now." @hazalxalpman

"If I didn't know any better I'd swear it was a full moon." Adrian exhaled, eyes shifting towards the other, hand wrapped around the end of the stethoscope that was around his neck. "I think this is the fifth time you guys have been out here this week and I hate that someone keeps wasting your time." he paused, turning to look back towards the door he'd just emerged from. "I've told Mrs. Potter she has to stop abusing the system just to get a look at another man in scrubs, but, she's insistent that one day she'll need you guys for real and she wants to establish a relationship before hand." he paused. "Sorry to have you come out here again, though, you guys want coffee or anything? I just made a fresh pot."

"Okay, listen." Adrian paused, feet shuffling back and forth as he stood, eyes fixated on the sign posted outside the men's bathroom. DO NOT ENTER, CLOSED FOR CLEANING. Outwardly groaning he exhaled, eyes fixating on the other who had just come into view. "Can you please let me know if anyone is in there?" he questioned. "I'm desperate for a bathroom break and apparently I picked the wrong time to need one because as you can see -" he pointed towards the sign, exhaling. "I don't want people to think I'm being a weirdo, but I am pretty sure if I don't get in there in the next five seconds we're about to have a bigger problem."

"I think if I eat another bite of ground turkey before my shift tomorrow I might lose my mind. I'm craving fish, maybe some fresh vegetables." he admitted. Showing up in Kismet Harbor unannounced wasn't something he'd ever planned. Truthfully, Adrian was sure he was going to be in New York for the rest of his life, but, when I job opportunity to work directly as a hospice nurse for Coastal Haven. The pay was good and he'd have been stupid to turn it down, even if it meant leaving his family behind. Tears had been shed, but, he knew that he could always visit whenever he wanted. Besides, who was to say that he would even like it in Kismet Harbor? Maybe he'd hate it and move back anyways. That was an option.

He'd been making himself acquainted with the town when he spotted the inevitable red hair that belonged to his best friend and he smiled, quietly making his way to where she were standing. Pausing he leaned, looking out as he pointed at an object somewhere in the distance. "Apple, in that window over there." he spoke, referring to the alphabet game he used to make her play back in New York. He only hoped she wouldn't be too upset he'd surprised her.
