I wish it would stop raining
Amen... I like the rain but, enough is enough.
Okay
That’s a good idea, flying’s always a good way to finish the day. Never too much practice, huh?
Never too much. Not when I have to do a few things: A) Be at the top of my game, B) Set an example for my team, C) Prepare myself for professional quidditch.
Okay
Well then, if you fancy a workout you should do one of those. Running would probably be better for your lungs and body, though.
You're probably right. A run and then some flying, I think that's how this is going to go down. Maybe if no one is using the pitch I can get some extra practice of my own in.
Okay
Don’t laugh too much, you don’t want to crack a rib or something.I did not say that now, did I?
You didn't have to, it was pretty thoroughly implied.
Okay
Flying. Always pick flying.
Always a good choice, yeah.
Okay
Flying. The other options are far too exhausting.
I dunno, I go for runs and swims pretty regularly back home. It's a pretty good workout. But I do love flying...
Okay
I would suggest being awesome. Unfortunately for you, you’re not Sebastian Smythe. So that’s not going to happen.
Funny Smythe, so funny. You're absolutely hilarious. Funnily enough, I don't need to think I'm the absolute shit to enjoy myself, unlike some people I know.
Okay
Well, that too. But I meant, because diving into a freezing lake is even pushing it for a crazy guy like me. We should running after practices sometime. You and I are two birds of a feather. I’d sooner break my arm than let my broom suffer.
Crazy, huh? I dunno if I'd call you crazy, just a major risk taker. Nothing wrong with that. That's not a bad idea. It'd be good for building up endurance and stamina... I'll see if we've got time to add it to each practice and then pitch it to the team, alright? I take the best care of my broom possible, I don't want anything to happen to it. One, because I love my broom, and two because I can't afford a new one and you can be sure I wouldn't be caught dead riding one of the toolshed Cleansweeps during a match.
Okay
Nah, hypothermia’s definitely not worth it, and that’s me saying that. Run, then fly, duh. I mean, you could run with your broom between your legs if you really wanna try something new and crazy.
You saying that because under other circumstances you'd choose flying? That's smart. Flying after a run might actually cool me down better than a walking period. Running with the broom between my legs sounds like a one way ticket to either breaking myself or the broom and if I had to choose one, I'd say it better be me doing the breaking and not my baby.
Okay
Tough one. Water’s probably freezing right now, so run or fly. Or both.
That's true, it might be enough to really shock me awake, but I don't think the hypothermia would really be worth it. Run and fly? At the same time? Because that might be cool if you could actually make it work, but I don't know how you'd do it....
Okay
Do I go for a swim, a run or flying? Someone pick one.
They are always happy to see me. I do stuff for them all the time. I love hanging with them too.
They always seem pretty happy in general. What kind of stuff can you do for a house elf?
Nah. I’m just saying it’s easier for them to get food quicker than muggle ones. I think. I dunno. I’ll ask my mum.
I mean, I could ask my mom too... Witch in a muggle world and all that. Now I'm curious. Anyway, so you tickled the pear? Were the house elves happy to see you?
I’m glad that the kitchen is so close. I was hit with the cravings of a pregnant muggle woman. Rather hard. Just now.
Are you saying witches don't get the same kind of cravings when they're pregnant?
Someone stop me from disappearing for days.
It’s been so nice out that I got distracted by it. Studying outside by Hagrid’s hut is so much better then studying in my room. I even saw some bowtruckles in the trees on the edge of the forbidden forest… I think.
You saw the bowtruckles??? I nearly got stabbed by one when we studied them, but only because I tried to get too close in order to sketch out the details. And this weather is amazing, I don't blame you for wanting to enjoy it as much as possible.
How often is too often to book the quidditch pitch?
Classes are like a necessarily evil. But I think Longbottom might be lenient with us if we miss a class here or there for practice.
So long as we didn't actually miss out on the actual work. I don't think there's away around practice limitations though.
Show me the rule that says I can’t root for everyone.
That is very true. Everyone deserves someone cheering for them.
