The Wizarding world is burning.

It’s 1978, and the Death Eaters are gaining ground too fast for the Order of the Phoenix to keep them in check. Members of both groups are disappearing. Neither side is winning, and everyone is suffering for it. The Wizarding world is desperate for a miracle.

But this is not a black-and-white war. There is more in peril here than the lives of the Muggleborns. Everyone has a stake in this war, a war that goes back longer than even Dumbledore knows, and not everyone is a Death Eater or Order member. There are more than two sides at play.

Before the Death Eaters, they were the Knights of Walpurgis, preservers of pure Wizarding culture and magical exploration. Not all of them agreed with Voldemort when he rose to power, changing their name and their purpose. Not all of the purebloods wanted violence or sovereignty.

This faction retreated from the war long before Voldemort was strong enough to begin one. They shrouded themselves from his eye, rebranding themselves the Knights of the Lotus, retaining their roots and refusing to become involved in the bloodbath the others lusted for.

They believe in the child fated to end the rising tyrant’s reign, as the prophecies have always foretold, a legend consistent among every oppressed people. The new king with rise from the ashes and return them to the old ways. Until the One arrives, they have one goal: minimize damages to the Wizarding world, and keep the Order and the Death Eaters from ending the war.

Can you do ones with andromeda and rabastan

Having been recently granted the pleasure of roleplaying with an amazing Rabdromeda pair, I can gladly say: yes, absolutely! I will never do them justice, but I can draw from the inspiration they give me.

A lot of people waggled their eyes at him and made suggestive comments. You’re quite the reacher, eh? Bagged an impressive one.

To Ted, though, Andromeda wasn’t the pureblood princess that everyone else saw. Whatever her bloodline was or how much money her parents had in the bank never factored into his opinions of her. To Ted, Andromeda was a spunky girl with a lot of fight, vastly passionate and beautiful when she was learning about something new and her eyes got that fire.

To Andromeda, that was what sealed the envelope on her love for him. He caught her eye because he treated her so differently than everyone else did. He had no idea who she was outside of their conversations over bubbling potions in class, the only Slytherin-Hufflepuff team that could get through class without blowing something up. What he knew about her was organic. What he loved about her was purely and truly her.

Hmm, I would love to see a series of themed pictures. Conspiracies, the log of a frustrated stalker (for whatever purpose) full of questions, an album of enemies to put curses on and rant about, a day in the life of..., and so on. Do you think you could do that, or are you sticking to whatever pops up? Thanks for posting a lot-- the descriptions add a nice depth.

Interesting idea and I'll file it away for future use, but it doesn't really work for this blog. This is a scrapbook based on a Tumblr RP, so I post pictures as they would appear in a scrapbook--sometimes I add the drabbles for added depth and character reflection, but a theme like you described wouldn't fit well with the purpose of this blog.

You may enjoy livesandliesofwizards, which is a more freeform Harry Potter-themed blog that I also write for occasionally. I may take these suggestions and use them for submissions to that blog, so thank you for the suggestion!
