how do we think aegon is going to get aegon 3 as a hostage? or do we think that plotline will be dropped completely? idky but i strongly suspect we wont see aegon 3 or viserys 2 again until the very end of the show. so i'm wondering how the final encounter with rhaenyra could even go down or a lot of the aftermath. I don't think we are going to get a full episode dedicated to hour of the wolf sorry guys i think itll be a maximum of 15 minutes in the last episode lol

i also kind of wonder if larys somehow already has aegon 3 [maybe also viserys 2?] captured idk

also if they do go the hostage route aegon beefing with like a 3 year old aegon 3 is so pathetic and sadcringe i dont even know if i want to see it lol

The context of Alicent stopping Criston from killing himself genuinely makes no sense it’s breaking my brain. I know she feels sorry for him and relates to him because they were both played by Rhaenyra. But after the Joffrey wedding murder of it all why would she have any reason to comfort him lol? Did she telepathically as an empath just know Criston did that out of a misplaced sense of anger + feeling taunted by a ~highborn~? Because to everyone in that room the realistic way this would have been read is member of the kingsguard randomly had some sort of mental schism and viciously beat in the face of the now prince consorts highborn bestie in the middle of the wedding celebration lol

I think my first indication that HOTD had the potential to be a shit show was when Criston, in a very public manner, beat a highborn to death in the middle of the princess’s wedding and caused a mass panic in which the princess was almost trampled to death. There was no repercussion for Criston whatsoever; in fact, it was never brought up again lol. The way he was allowed to just walk out of the room is beyond me. Like hello???? There is a murderer on the loose?

I think one of the biggest fuck ups of all of HotD is us not getting a scene of the aftermath of Aemond coming back to the Red Keep after Luke was killed by Vhagar. I think if we had gotten Alicent’s reaction to it and seen how she interacted with Aemond after, it would have given us the most insight into their relationship and could explain some of the things he’s saying in S3 in his mommy problems induced state.
