She’s kneeling on the cold, dirty of an abandoned building farther away from civilization, shirt bunched up above her navel, with a blade in front of her and (until seconds ago) intent to use it, so no, nothing is alright.

Her head is swimming and she can barely see straight- how did she get here? Why is she here? To kill herself? It had certainly made so much sense a few moments ago, end her miserable existence, spill it all over the floor, but the urge is so far gone she can hardly believe it ever came. All she’s left with is a headache and unanswered questions.

And then there’s someone next to her in some flashy costume, a girl a few grades below her she recognizes from school, holding out a hand, asking her if she’s ok, and she’s already so disoriented that this somehow doesn’t seem strange.

                          Sayaka didn't move from her original position, standing on                           one foot, kneeling down in front of the young woman that                           appeared to be the victim of the witch that she just took                           care of on her own. She doesn't look too happy, the magical                           girl thought, as a sigh escaped through her thin lips, well, of                           course she's not : how could she be ? Trying to seem positive, and                           not turn the situation any worse, the teenager kept her hand                           out, now a brighter smile warming up upon her face. ' better                           alive than nothin', right ? ' okay, stupid move. ' uh .  .  . can                   i take you home, maybe ? you don't seem like you can go on your own. '
