HARRY LLOYD as VISERYS III TARGARYEN in GAME OF THRONES (2011-2019) S01E01, "Winter Is Coming"
but aerion was quite the glad child once.
Do you think somebody abused Aerion? If so, who are the most likely perpetrators?
It may well have been the last thing GRRM had in mind, but it’s probably my preferred reading (and a contentious one, obviously! But as I mentioned a few posts down, it does no one any good to categorically dismiss it considering the uncomfortable truth that many perpetrators of COCSA have been abused themselves. At the same time, however, it should go without saying that this reading does not constitute a defense of Aerion’s actions).
Finn Bennett is 5’6 but that’s tall TO ME. I’m five foot NOTHING well I guess my shoes add an inch. I’m five foot one… my upper limit for men is 5’8 and that’s pushing it. I don’t want to stand on a chair to kiss someone. Women of course can be seven foot tall if they want because they, unlike men*, have nothing to prove to me. I would stand on a chair for a woman
*not him. He’s so cute. All other men though
The IT couple
Very brave of you to be a proud Aerion stan because Ive been noticing how much of a death sentence it is to like him here in this moralcrusdaersite. Like, they'll be lecturing you on COCSA so much over a fictional character while obviously pretending to care about it just to one up you lmao
Lmfao has something happened on twitter? Many of these asks right now... not that I don't appreciate all of them (and I am holding all of your hands in a circle like kids on the playground) but I probably won't post them all because I don't want to poke the bear
But anyway I do agree, I wish people would stop using COCSA as a stick to beat people with. I don't get particularly upset by talking about it in general, but when people try to argue about fictional characters using it as a bludgeoning stick or making these blanket statements about what a bad and/or delusional and/or illiterate person you are if you disagree with them I do start bugging out a bit
Ngl I like baekar. I think theyre a neat ship and all and the fanarts go hard but im not liking these hcs/fanon thing the shippers love to do where they like to make Maekar always choose Baelor over Aerion. I mean sure, post-Ashford makes sense, but pre-Ashford, especially in books, where I think about how Maekar really turns a blind eye to anything Aerion does and actually believes Aerion's tale more and how he seems to bicker so much with Baelor. Like the show is great, but people were convinced that Maekar wanted Aerion to die in the trial bruh.
Yeah I personally think Maekar would take anything Baelor said against Aerion pre-Ashford as a slight or disregard it, the way he seems to when Baelor says that Daeron shouldn't be forced to joust if he isn't good at it
YMMV but my secret personal interpretation of Maekar is that he's very all or nothing... pre-Ashford Aerion is his darling who can do no wrong but once he's snapped out of that by the trial, he does kind of wish Aerion died instead; pre-Ashford, Baelor is overshadowing him and he wants to prove him and everyone wrong, but post-Ashford he desperately wants Baelor back and has realised he was right about almost everything. Almost a 'splitting' kind of thing
aerion and bloodraven my third eye has been opened jdkfhdjdj
Fan: Is there a reason as to why Silver died in the show?
George: That surprised me too when I saw it because Silver is definitely not dead in the books. In fact, I was just writing a scene of The Battle of Meereen which opens The Winds Of Winter where Dany is gone from the city so Ser Barristan rides Silver into battle to conjure her up… I guess they just wanted to show how dangerous the crossing of the red waste is. On the other hand, although they killed the horse, they kept the handmaid alive. You may recall that in the book one of Dany's handmaids dies of thirst and sickness and dehydration while crossing the red waste…

highkey hilarious that akotsk is like. this is valarr he's the heir's heir. everyone says he will be a good king. he is a brown-haired targaryen yes but with a streak of silver-gold and he has heterochromia just like his father. he has all black armour and matching tents with the targaryen crest. he has a pink-haired baddie wife. he has three lines in the show.
