the last book i read: I've started like 3 books since, but the last one i finished was Starve Acre by Andrew Michael Hurley (hot take but a book where i think the film adaptation did a better job with an ending).
a book i’d recommend: I almost never recommend books because I fear mockery. That being said: This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone, Vicious by VE Schwab, The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden are all books I have suggested to people.
a book i couldn’t put down: The Silmarillion no joke, Our Violent Delights by Micah Nemerever, The Bloodsworn series by John Gwynne...
a book i’ve read twice or more: Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys and Bonechiller by Graham McNamee are both wrecked from my teen years, and also warrior cats as a whole because of course.
a book on my TBR: Literally so many becuase I have become bad at reading yet still ask for books at birthdays and christmas... I want to continue Richard Swan's Empire of the Wolf trilogy, The Red Winter by Cemeron Sullivan, The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden, Joe Abercrombies The Devils...
a book i’ve put down: The Twisted Ones by T.Kingfisher, it sounded very up my street for horror but the atmosphere and 'weirdness' gets lost in how boring i've begun to find it.
a book i’d give to a friend: Depends who the friend is and what they want to read. Bar my illustrated 90s(?) Silm i'll basically let people borrow anything.
a book of poetry or lyrics that i have: I am uncultured and do not own a poetry book, the closest i've got is probably Beren and Luthien by Tolkien as A LOT of that one is told in song(?) form.
a non fiction book i own: The Rise and Fall of Dinosaurs/The Rise and Reign of Mammals by Stephen L. Brusatte and The Missing Lynx by Ross Barnett, Revolting by Terry Deary, and Otherlands by Thomas Halliday
what i’m currently reading: Game of Thrones (the book not the series... I mean I guess also the series, but I mean i'm on the first book)
what i’m planning to read next: Truly who knows, i'm a mood reader, hopefully the next ASoiaF or something off of my large pile of unread books.
