Slowly. Very slowly. Tail curving after his body, one paw after the other, the Cathy crept along the stone fence between houses. He’d spotted someone similar to himself not far off, and his mission changed from sneaking around silently to finding the person and trying his best to communicate. He would only be in this form for thirty minutes before returning to his normal self, but being outside wasn’t what he wanted; not alone, anyway.
As the end of the cement blocks were reached, he leaped, and landed right in front of his target. Lucky for him the blushing from suddenly feeling shy was kept hidden when a cat.
An experimental meow was given from the feline to the other feline as she stood tall and human-like with only ears, a tail, and claws like that of his own.

Sabitsuki had learned a few things in the past few weeks.
One, apparently the “War of The Worlds” remake was only a temporary thing. Things had simmered to something akin to peace, and there were no more corpses littering the street, so she’d hoped it was a one-time deal. Two, she was, more or less, living on the street. Three, almost all of her effects were gone—not to mention, she’d been given a stick—and four, the only effect she could use was one of her most useless ones. The Cat effect.
Now, granted, maybe she could’ve been able to make some use of it if she could turn into an actual cat, but as it stood, she could only get halfway there. And only for a brief period of time, it seemed. Still, she felt a little less....lost with it equipped, so that was one upside.
Ears twitching and tail swaying, she decided to leave the safety of her box and gather her bearings, now that the dust had settled. The heightened senses were another upside, and given how...unsettling the area of District Gamma was—almost reminding her of the areas within the FLOW program—the heighten senses were something of a comfort.
The young woman’s pupils immediately constricted as a dark blur fell in front of her, and she only just managed to refrain from rearing back.
.....Oh.
A cat. Funny! Real funny.
Ah, but, she always did have a soft spot for cats..
Sabitsuki regarded the smaller feline for a moment and slowly knelt down, one ear flicking in response to the attempt at communication. She’d never communicated with felines in the FLOW program, as there weren’t very many, so she ‘d never been sure if she could actually....interact with them, vocally speaking. It felt like hearing a language she used to know—she knew it should mean something, and she could almost pinpoint it, but Sabitsuki still couldn’t quite understand.
Licking her top lip, Sabitsuki looked around for a moment before returning her focus to the kitten, trying to appear serious despite the embarrassed heat rushing to her face.
This is so stupid...
Hesitantly, and very aware of how she looked, Sabitsuki replied with a rrrow of her own.
