(( You know those weird spontaneous moments when you just start writing? Well... That's what this was. ))
“So.. How long have ya been in America.. I mean, before this?” the cowboy asked, turning to his new partner.
“A few years.. I mean. No more than four,” Hanzo paused, “On and off.”
“Whaddya mean? On and off?”
“Well,” the archer took a breath before continuing, “I travel from here and back to Japan ever few months.” He paused. “I am trying to right some wrongs I have done.”
The cowboy nodded, he had been there. Not too long before they were paired to be partners, he had traveled trying to make amends with those he wanted to make things right with.
It had gone silent, they had been talking quote a bit just before this, Jesse looked over to see only a pained expression across the young archer’s face.
“D-Does it snow in Japan?” Jesse asked, glancing up at the sky.
“It has.”
“Do you like the snow?”
Hanzo replied with only a shrug. As they walked, Jesse continued to think and fill the silence every so often. His comments met with brief, and often, few word responses. Hanzo's now limited had started to make him worry. This was not the ideal way to start a partnership. It had only been a few months since their first mission together
As McCree opened his mouth to speak, a sudden shit shirt of wind knocked the unprepared archer into him. With a swift movement, Jesse had caught and steadied him. Hanzo blinked a few times before realizing what had just happened. The archer quickly grabbed the end of his beanie to keep it from flying away.
“Hey,” Jesse just barely spoke over the wind, “I just remembered.. My papí has a cabin around here, we could stay there until the winds die down!”
Hanzo nodded in agreement. McCree wrapped his arm around Hanzo’s shoulders and lead him toward.
⋆ ⋆ ⋆
After having found and gotten settled, McCree hung up their coats and put their boots in the cabbies besides the door.
“Do all American cabins look like this?” Hanzo asked as he looked around in fascination; he had never seen anything like this. At least not in person. He had seen photos and cabins in movies but nothing compared to this. The walls, thin looking logs, stacked neatly in horizontal rows. Family photos framed in nearly every hallway. In the center of the living area was a brick colored rug, underneath was smooth hardwood. There were four small sofas arranged in a semi circle in front of a large stone fireplace.
“Naw. But my papí had his ways,” Jesse said with a chuckle. He was happy that Hanzo seemed to be in a much better mood now.
“Hey?” Jesse perked up, “Want some hot cocoa?”
“Hot.. Cocoa..?”
“Yeah,” the cowboy paused; and with a look of deep concern, he continued. “You have.. Had coca before, right?”
There was a pause before Hanzo spoke.
“I… Am afraid to answer that.”
“I'm gonna take that as a no. And make some.” He flashed a grin and walked. Hanzo stood there a moment. Something felt.. off. An emotion he'd never really felt before. What was that? Why did it just… Happen?
⋆ ⋆ ⋆
It had been a little while since Jesse had gone into the kitchen and the silence was making Hanzo nervous. The archer gave the room a quick scan before spotting a remote. After grabbing it, Hanzo found himself staring for a moment. This was different than the ones he had back home. Of course, nothing he couldn’t figure out on his own. Hanzo began fiddling with the remote, lighting pressing a few buttons; some even more than once. Button after button. Hanzo's eyes darted back and forth between the remote and television. Nothing.
The archer made a face in frustration; there is mot way he cannot figure this out. And certainly will not ask Jesse for help. The longer he tried, the more frustrated he got. Mumbling to himself in Japanese, Hanzo clenched the remote. With a sudden click, the screen lightened and static crackled.
“Jesse?” Hanzo hesitated.
“Yeah?”
“How.. Do you work the television? I.. I think I broke it..”
“Hm?” Jesse peaked in then let out a soft chuckle. “Oh. Naw. It does that sometimes.”
Hanzo watched as the cowboy walked in and kneeled in front of a receiver. Upon watching, he started to notice things. Has.. Jesse always had such a for form? Hanzo’s eyes wandered down the side of Jesse's arms that were visible, down his muscly thighs and to his firm calves. What would it like to be between them? Maybe a nip here and there. No! He couldn’t think things like that. Certainly not about his work partner.
“There? See?” Jesse turned with a smile, having turned on the television. Hanzo, distracted by his thoughts, remained unresponsive.
“Han?” Jesse tilted his head. “Hanzo?” his brows furrowed as he walked over, quickly waving a hand in front of the archer’s face.
“Hanzo? Hey?”
After a few blinks, Hanzo looked; his body tensed, seeing that he was just inches from – Has.. Jesse always had such a sharp jawline? And.. kissable lips? Hanzo's eyes darted across Jesse's face. Just.. One kiss couldn’t hurt right? I mean, what’s the worse that could happen? Even if he rejected it, they’d probably get new—Before her could finish his thought, as if his body were moving on it's own, Hanzo leaned up. With slight hesitation, he pressed his lips to the taller man's.
It took a few minutes before Hanzo really processed what he'd just done. They’re in a cabin together because there’s a blizzard out. Where is he to go?
“Han?” Jesse's voice broke the silence.
Here is comes. Hanzo couldn’t hear open his eyes, not yet. He braced himself for the worst. Yelling, telling him off, gunfire –but there was silence.
Hanzo hesitantly opened his eyes, half expecting a scowl or expression of disgust. But there wasn’t. Jesse was smiling. Just, smiling.
“Would.. Would ya like that cocoa now? I also found some cookies in the cabinets.” Jesse's eyes were soft, his cheeks tinted pink.
“Um..” Hanzo stammered, “Okay..” He replied with a nod.
“Great,” Jesse turned back into the kitchen to grab the platter. “How ‘bout we find a movie?”
Hanzo nodded then walked over to help Jesse with the drinks.

“These last few months with this woman had been stressful.. She was always constantly putting me down, criticizing me and turning my other family members against me. She was never a pleasure to be around, unless of course she was with my father.
All fake smiles and joys. Back to the story, she just kept talking and talking.. And... The more she spoke, the more I could feel this burning sensation in my chest.. I wanted to hit something, tell her to shove it.. But... That's not what happened."

Dinner with Kaemon
Prologue Eric and Kaemon have known each other for their entire lives. Eric was quite the family man, a husband and two beautiful children. Kaemon on the other hand was not a fan of children, though he was very serious with his long term girlfriend. Eric’s husband Jesse and Kaemon weren’t the best of friends, in fact they hated each other. One evening, after Jesse had gone to work and the kids at school, Kaemon invited Eric over to taste some dishes he had been tampering with. ‘Here, try this.’ The tall dark haired male suggested with a smile. Eric glanced up then at the plate. 'What is it?’ He hesitated 'My special recipe.’ Kaemon smiled. Although a little uneasy after staring at what appears to be oddly large wide noodles, Eric nodded and took a bite. 'So? What do you think?’ Kaemin asked. 'There’s Uh.. This interesting texture.’ Eric gestured, smacking his lips. 'Like.. Rubber.’ Kaemon nodded a few times then stood upright and set the plate down. After a moment, lawman reaches over and grabbed a bowl, 'Close your eyes?’ Confused, Eric let out a small chuckle. He turned to find the taller male suddenly very close 'Close your eyes.’ Kaemon demanded. 'Wait.. You were serious?’ Eric swallowed. “Okay.. Okay” With a smirk, Kaemon gathered a spoonful. 'That’s an unique flavor..’ Eric mumbled, holding a hand in front of his mouth. 'What.. What is–’ 'A sauce that.. Uh.. My mother taught me when I was little. ’ Kaemon replied. 'Thank you for having me over but… I better get back.’ Eric stood and stretched, 'The last time I kept Jesse waiting, he made me sleep on the couch.’ Kaemon stared a moment, 'For…keeping him…?’ 'Yeah.. He got. Suspicious.. Thought I was with another man..’ Eric made a face. A sudden and alarming thought came to Eric’s mind “I think it’s about time I head home.. Thanks for dinner.” Kaemon watched the taller man a moment then nodded. … Eyes vibrant with fear and paranoia, Eric seung his front door open, “Jesse!!?” Fuck, fuck… No. Panicking, Eric frantically looked in ever room. Every knock and cranny of his now daunting home. “Jesse!! Please, please answer me?!” Eric’s body started to shake uncontrollably. “He’s gone.. He’s.. No…” As he felt himself grow cold, Eric heard what seemed to be a soft and low voice but he couldn’t make out what it was saying. As he listened, the voice grew louder. “Eric? Eric!” Eric eyes snapped open, beside him, a smaller male. “Why do you always do this?” Jesse asked, “You start cleaning then fall asl–” Cut off by a sudden hug, Jesse stumbled a bit. “Wha–”

(This was originally going to be a book but I never got around to writing any more.. So please enjoy this..)
The Maddisons were a happy, healthy and loving family. They didn't have a lot, just each other and that was more than enough for each other.
Denzel, the oldest of two brothers was sitting in the living room, on the tv was the news. Denzel, of course, couldn't care less about the weather and what was happening.. As usual, he blocked it out... This event, this one decision... Would haunt him forever. Iris, the youngest, ran down the stairs and onto the couch. "Denzel!" The young boy, excited to see his brother, spoke loudly. "Yes?" Denzel, absorbed in his phone, absently responded. Iris made a face and watched his brother for a moment then spoke, "Let's go outside~" he glanced at the tv and made another face. "Ew. News." Denzel laughed a bit, put his phone away and turned to his brother, "Going outside sounds gre--" he tilted his head, noticing Iris was staring at the tv. "Iris..." Iris, remaining motionless, had become paranoid. He quickly turned to Denzel. "A freak earthquake? A freak earthquake!? Do those even exist?!" All this talk was causing Iris to hyperventilate. Denzel quickly turned Iris to face himself, "Hey.. Looks at me.. Calm down.. Okay?" He stared into Iris' eyes, waiting for a response. Iris slowly looked at Denzel, "Th-That's... Near where we live.." Iris' eyes started to water, the fear in his eyes saddened Denzel. "Hey.. Iris... Look at me," Denzel paused, "You're going to be okay... Even if the earthquake effects us... I won't let anything happen to you.. I promise." He wiped Iris' eyes and smiled. "You mean that?" Iris' voice shook a bit. Denzel looked at him, his voice softened "Have I ever let you down before?" Iris shook his head then looks at Denzel "N-No.." Denzel flashed a confident smile to make Iris feel better... To be honest he was terrified. He didn't really know if the earthquake would affect them... If anything would happen to them. Iris was all he had, what would he do if something were to happen to him..? Just the thought put a lump in Denzel's throat, he took a breath and stood up. "Hey.. Let's go to bed.. It's pretty late.." After a moment, he looked around "Iris!" "I'm upstairs!" Iris called out from his bedroom. Denzel stood and jogged upstairs and into Iris' room. "What time is it?" Denzel asked, glancing around Iris' untidy room. "Uh. 9:45 p.m" Iris blankly glanced at the clock and responded. He was completely absorbed in his manga. "You and your manga, " Denzel chuckled, "It's like you're in a totally different world.." Iris, obviously not paying attention to Denzel, did not respond. "Could you leave.. I'm in the middle of this-- Gah!" Before Iris could finish his sentence, Denzel had pounced on him. "RAWR!" Denzel started tickling Iris, laughing in an "evil" way. Iris tried holding in his laughing, that plan failed.. The laughter burst out of him, in an attempt to block Denzel, Iris curled up into a ball. Iris and Denzel had fallen asleep curled up together, as they do most nights. Iris blinked his eyes open and looked at the clock, "Midnight.." He whispered to himself.. Iris went to lie down when his stomach suddenly growled. "Damn. You have timing..." Iris slowly sat up and looked at his sleeping brother. "I love you.." He whispered then stood and went downstairs in an attempt to find something soothing to his picky stomach. . . . Denzel was woken when the bed suddenly shook. It was no ordinary shaking, it was massive, and violent. The vibration was strong enough to knock him out of bed. In a panic, Denzel looked around for his brother. "Iris!!" He tried to stand but was quickly knocked down and into the book shelf. Denzel quickly grabbed onto the wall, "Iris!! Where are you?!" With one final blow, all Denzel could hear was glass shattering, hissing of wires then sudden silence... The shaking had finally stopped.. When Denzel finally recovered his balance, he ran around the second floor, "Iris! Iris!!" The panic he felt started to intensify, Denzel started to choke on his words, "Wh-Where are.... You!?" Deciding his brother was not on the same floor, Denzel jogged down stairs and searched all around. Just when he had given up he heard a cough coming from the living room. Denzel's eyes shot open, he booked into the room then froze. His eyes widened. He walked over and kneeled beside his brother.. "D-Denzel..?" Iris coughed again, "I... I can't feel my legs..." Denzel looked at shattered windows and the glass shards all along Iris' legs, Denzel slipped one of his arms under his brother neck and propped him up. Iris' body shook a bit as he slowly turned to look at Denzel. "H-How do you feel?" Denzel forced the words into a sentence. Iris stared for a moment "I... I feel numb... I don't really feel much.." Denzel's visioned started to blur he quickly wiped his eyes with his free hand and looked at Iris, "I'm glad you didn't g-get.. Too hurt.." Denzel smiled. Iris' shaking worsened. "I'm not going... To get better am I..?" Iris stared into his brothers eyes. Denzel's voice shook, "Y-You're going to be... J-Just fine.. Okay?" He swallowed. "I'm going to call the police... And they're going to make you all better.." Iris watched him, "Denzel..." Iris continued to watch him. Denzel slowly looked at him, "Y-Yes?" Iris' voice softened, "I'm... I'm tired..." Denzel nodded. "Go to sleep.. When you.." He paused. "When you wake up... You'll be all better.. You won't be in any pain anymore.." He smiled at Iris. Iris nodded, slowly closed his eyes, then whispered "Denzel" Denzel watched him, "Y-Yes..?" "I love you.." Iris took his last and final breath before going limp. Denzel froze, he couldn't think straight, what was he to do? His best friend, his brother, his whole world was taken from him in a matter of five minutes. His hands shook, he suddenly leans over, resting his forehead on Iris' stomach. "Iris!!!" He cried out, he couldn't stop himself. The tears kept falling. "Iris! Wh-Why did you have to leave me?" His visioned blurred again as his voice lowered. "I'm alone...I'm all alone now..." My Cafe | Buy me a coffee?
There once was a boy, who said he was "happy" and would never need anyone else. He thought love was not worth it... That nothing good can come from love, for he comes from a broken home. He soon found, he had fallen in love with a girl, with a girl in his math class... "She'll never want me.... She'd never love me... I mean, what do I have to offer.?" And as they got closer, his love for her only grew stronger and stronger...Days would come and go, he'd try to focus on something else. But alas, she's all that ever crossed his mind. Day after day, night after night. What he didn't understand was how just a thought, a mere mental image of her... Made his heart beat, made him melt.He spent hours each night, writing songs, poems, stories just to show himself how much he was falling for her, how quickly he was falling in love with her. Late at night he sat. He sat and thought of possible ways to ask her out... To somehow win her over. At the end of the day, he was scared... He was afraid she'd reject him, she'd laugh in his face or walk away. But most of all, we was afraid of harming the delicate rose she was. He was afraid if he showered her with affection, their friendship, and she, would wither away. Every day, he tried to think of ways to tell her, call her, text her, write her a poem, sing to her... But he couldn't....He conjured up the last bit of courage he had to ask her, then... she dated.... and his heart fell cold... He felt he.... Had nothing left... He didn't understand why.... All he wanted was her to be happy, and so he stayed silent. His pain, his troubles and his feelings went unheard. He then seemed a relationship, something to remind him he's still but barely alive. He found someone... Or so he thought. This relationship... This abusive, harmful relationship..... He told himself he loved her... That he wanted her.... But he didn't.... It wasn't the same.... He told himself the pain and abide he went through.... He deserved..... He did everything he could to try to believe he was happy and in love.... And he was..... But with her.... Not his girlfriend....He tried to hint at it... But he's not very clever. He tried to tell her, but instead showed her other things. His girlfriend left him, turning all the blame to him, he felt he had nowhere to turn.... He heart had been numb.... But he still.... Only thought of her. Her brown eyes with a tint of green, her hair that looked silk. Her voice, not even angels could surpass... Everything about her... Made him want her more. He had spoken to their mutual friend.... Never mentioning her name... He had no idea what to do.... This love for her consumed him.... In the darkest hours, the coldest nights. She was still, the only thing on his minds.... One night he said to himself, enough is enough, I must think of a way to tell her.... He made up a story, about two other people he "liked". Two people he wished to woo... He thought to himself, she'd never know it wasn't true. All he really wanted was her. One night they talked and he told himself to say it. Say it. Say it. She asked him who he liked... So he listed off three... A girl, a boy and her. He stared at his computer... Both scared and relieved.... He didn't know what he had done... But at that point didn't care. "She knows now... And that's all that matters" He minimized the tab, trying to regain his breath, a small ding sounded.... Hesitantly he opened it, to find she liked him too.... A rush of bliss.... A rush of warmth.... A rush and happiness filled his body and soul. His fear of her ignoring him.... Oh him, making it awkward because he had told in such a stupid way made him feel like nothing could ever happen.... Shortly after he began to think... "She could never want someone with so many scars, with so many things he has to hide... She would never love someone as suicidal and depressed as he.... They wouldn't be together no matter how much he wanted it" School ended, he walked with their mutual friend as he always did... Then stopped, as the friend crossed the street he told himself "today's the day. I'm going to ask her..." He walked over to where he knew she hung out after school. He glomped her, as he usually did.... As an excuse to hold her close... To feel her heart beat... To her her breathing. He opened his mouth to ask, but instead acted like an idiot to make her laugh. As they walked across the dirt, closer to the street, she turned to him... And asked him out... At that moment. That few seconds, his heart raced, his mind went blank, his tongue twisting I unspoken words. He wanted to kiss her... He wanted to pull her into a hug,and kiss her. He wanted to hug her tightly and never let go. It's only been six days since then, but he feels so alive. For once in his life... He's truly happy... And although it may be too soon to think about this. For the subject to come up... He lays in bed at night, one his side, dreaming of one day waking up to her... Of never having to part from her... He dreams of the day he will get down on one knee. Not a minute passes by, where she doesn't cross his mind. Not a moment passes by when he doesn't want to hold her. He wants to hold her, love her, protect her, giver her his jacket when she's cold, cover her head when it rains. He wants to take her out every Friday, he wants to kiss her in the rain.... He wants to love her forever. He wishes they were out of school, there would be nothing limiting him to how he could see her. He simply cannot wait.

A boy, about eighteen years of age, walked along a curb. With each step Kane took he lost balance; he didn't care, he would take as long as he could if it meant he didn't have to go home. See, his home life wasn't the best and everyday it was the same; he'd come home to his father yelling and telling him how useless he was followed by a lengthy beating. As he neared the house, his heart began racing. "Straight to my room.." He muttered to himself, as he stopped at the door and took out his keys. Hesitant, he unlocked and stepped in; glancing around to make sure he was alone. He hurried in, quickly greeted his brother and up to his room. He closed the door and set his bag down; a million thoughts racing through his mind. "I can't take this anymore.. I just can't.." He said to himself, running his finger up and down the bumps on his arms. Taking a deep breath, the boy walked and stopped in front of his nightstand. The boys hands shook as they inched toward a piece of paper beside a small gun. "I'm sorry brother..." He said to himself as he opened and placed the paper on the dresser. After taking another deep breath, Kane grabbed the gun and sat on his bed. He leaned forward, put the barrel in his mouth and closed his eyes. . . . The gunshot echoed through the the house, jolting Kane's brother Parker, away. Tense and worried, Parker leapt out of bed and ran. "Kane! Kane answer me!" Parker's voice shook, "You better fucking answer me." Parker's body started to shake as he tried to open the door; slamming fists on the center when he couldn't. "Kane!! Kane! Pl-Please.. Please.." His eyes watered as he slowly slide down the door and onto his knees. "Please.." He closed his eyes. "Don't leave me..."

I never thought I'd fall in love
I never thought I'd meet "the one"
That all changed, the day we met
You changed my mind, made me forget
I've fallen in live with you, there's nothing I could do
You're like a rose, so delicate and pure
Full of beauty and charm
Never obscure
You paralyze me,
Make me forget how to breathe
It isn't just one rose, no,
You're a meadow of roses
So many times,
I'd try to get you out of my head
I fell for you hard, didn't know what to do
You amaze me, you embrace me, beauty's so Devine
Everything you do, makes me love you
You paralyze me,
Make me forget how to breathe
It isn't just one rose, no,
You're a meadow of roses

An excerpt from a fanfic I'll probably never write.
"Take it off!"
"I can't!"
Mercy held Lena's hand for what appeared to be the last time. Her blue eyes starting to blur.
Between stroles of wiping her tears away, she could see Lena's lips moving. There were fewer pauses between Lena's glitching and the angel began to grip the shorter females hand much firmer.
"Please," the angel's voice shook, "Please don't leave me. Not now.. Not after all this."
Lena's lips moved but no sound was heard. The light flashed once more before emanating a sudden beam.
The angel had no choice but to Avery her eyes. There was an electric pop, followed by the light dulling; Lena was gone.
Mercy's body trembled as she tried to grasp what has just happened. She vanished just like that. She'd never hear her laugh again. Or see that cocky smile run across her face whenever someone challenged her to a race. Never again could she hold her hand, or feel her lips on Lena's.
The angel feel to her knees. An overwhelming cold sensation came over her as she stated where Lena's body previously lay.
It almost felt as if time itself has stopped.
"What did she say?" the thought snapped her out of it. What did she say? What did she say..? Her body leaned against the wall, her hands in her hair, giving her scull quick grips as she tried to remember. Tried to focus.
Mercy's body stilled as she repeated the three last words she heard.
"I love you."
Prologue: “Harleen?” A tall man called out. “Harleen, I need these filed..” “Comin’ sir“ a perky blond trotted over, occasionally stumbling. She quickly took the stack from the man’s hands and looked up at him. “We need those filed before our client gets here,” the man groaned. “He’s not the most pleasant when displeased. Harley gave the man a quick nod then turned and headed toward here desk.
“Hey.. Harleen?” The blonde paused and looked up from her stack of papers, giving the room a quick glance. Funding no success in placing that voice to a face, she looked back down and continued to write. “Harleen” the voice sounded sharper, startling Harleen. “What!?” Harleen snapped. Having now broken the silence of a very mellow room, Harleen slowly slumped into her chair. “Harleen.” The voice called out again, only this time noticeably louder. Harleen, half frustrated, sharply turns and yelps. Harleen, now inches away from plucky red head, scoots her chair back. “Jesus, ya scared the hell out of me.” Harleen huffed. “Why are you over here?” “I got… bored over there.. All alone… without my buddy—“ “Hey, it isn’t my fault he promoted me instead of you, Pamela.” Harleen interrupted. The red head let out a scoff, “I ain’t the one kissing the boss’ ass either. “ she leaned back. Harleen suddenly stopped. “What?” “Nothing.” Pamela replied sharply, “So, may I ask, what are you working here for? Harleen let out a small sigh, “I need to continue my education,” she said as she pushed up her glasses. “My goal is to be one of the most successful psychiatrists in Gotham.”

So, I was writing this story before (now I’m not sure if I’m going to finish it but I thought I’d post anyway) and I never got around to finishing any other chapters.
The past few weeks had been off for Joker. He found himself distracted and unable to do the simplest of things. His blueprints weren’t legible, sloppily made and he hadn’t picked up a gun or happy bomb in months. “Mista J?” Harley’s voice seemed to come out of no where. Joker, who’d been staring at the wall for the passed hour, glanced toward the sound of his lover’s voice. “Are you in there? Please come out..” The jester begged, “I haven’t seen you all morning..” After a moment, the clown stood and walked to the door; he opened the door and stared at Harley. “M-Mista J..” Harley stammered. Something about him was.. Different. His eyes didn’t have the gleam they usually did.. His clothes looked almost mangled, as if something mauled him. His eyes were sullen and blood shot; how did she not notice before? “A-Are you okay? I’m–” Harley began before he interrupted. “What do you want?” “I..” for some reason Harley couldn’t speak. The way he was looking at her seemed to paralyze her. The Joker blinked a few times, eager for her to leave, he started to close the door. “If that’s all, I have work to do.” “Mister J! Don’t—“ before Harley could finish her sentence, he had slammed the door. * With every passing hour, the panic building within Harley became overwhelming. She quickly stood and turns toward the stairs. She didn’t care that he didn’t want to see her. She just had to see him, see what’s going on, if he’s okay. Just as she was about to take a step, the door swung open and Joker stepped out. There was something rolled up in his hand; Harley squinted to try to make it out. Before she new it, Joker was just inches from her; she let our a yelp before stumbling back. The clown’s arm quickly coiled around her waist and reeled her close. “Guess what Harls?” the clown grinned. “I have a great plan ~” With a confused expression, Harley nodded. Joker flashed a grin and proceeded to walk, arm hooked around Harley’s waist. He lead here out and to the getaway car, then turned to her and flashed a grin. “Now, do you want to grab anything before we head out?” The clown’s smile was different then normal. It almost seemed….forced. “Are you alright puddin’?” Harley watched her lover with worried eyes. “You looks little—“ “Eh. I’m fine.” Joker claimed, waving it off. “Just sleep deprived.” He said with a chuckle. Of course Harley didn’t believe him. How could she? She knew the man inside and out. The longer she stood with him, the more clear it was that whatever was troubling him, was consuming him. It was really starting to bother her. She wanted to know.. She wanted to help him. But she knew that if she were to ask, he’d most likely just push her away. Then again.. maybe she was over thinking it? What if it was nothing and it was just a off day for him. “Harls?” The clown’s voice snapped her out of thought. “I… don’t need anything.” She grinned, “I got the fun ya have me last month~” Joker nodded then took a step back. “Shall we then?” he grinned. With a slight not, Harley walked and got into the car; Joker following close behind her.
• • •
After driving around Gotham for some time, Joker pulled the car into a lot in front of a large house and parked. Without a word, Joker opened the door a got out. “Puddin’?” “Stay here darlin’. This won’t take long.” “Um.. Alright.” The way he had said that made her nervous. She felt as though her stomach dropped. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ She thought to herself. 'He’s done this before. Why do I have such a bad feeling about this?’ It seemed like hours had gone by before the silence was broken by the clown swinging the driver’s door open. “Puddin’?” she asked after a moment. Her nerves were finally starting to physically get to her. “Hm?” “Your buddy, he won’t mind if I run in and..” She finished with a gesture. Joker turned to look at her. “He shouldn’t..” he replied. “You feel sick?” “Nah.” She forced a giggle, “Too many grape sodas.” Joker, whom was now growing suspicious, gave her A slow nod. Harley flashed a smile, for got out. After turning her back to Joker, she shoved her hands in her pockets and jogged to the front door. As she neared to entrance, she began nervously fiddling with something her pocket. The clown adjusted his chair so he had a clear view of the house a watched. After speaking with a tall man in the doorway, Harley disappeared from his sight. Joker sat in silence for a while before pulling out a list of weapons; he then began look around the car and check tem off. He re-positioned himself a bit to reach under the back of his seat. “Magazines… Explosives,” he began muttering. “Guns..” Before he could open the glove compartment to check for any extras, Harley opened the door a hopped in. For a few second, Harley didn’t say anything, which started to concern him. Normally she made little comments or at least ask why a man of his physique is almost curled around his chair. “Ready?” The sudden sound of Harley’s voice startled the clown a bit. “Mn. Yeah.” He faced forward, passing a few glances her way before an started the car. As he drove, the wind because pulling a the list he shoved into the glove box. The odd, flapping noise grabbed Harley’s attention. “What’s that?” the blonde’s head tilted to the side. “Hm?” he glanced over, “Oh, just a list of.. things I need to get.” “Uh-huh.” She nodded in disbelief. After a second, she opened the glove box a grabbed it; she knew it would bother later her if she didn’t. She fought with the wind for a bit before rolling the window up halfway and straightening out the paper. At first she didn’t know what she was reading. It didn’t look like anything, just random words. The longer she looked at it, the more of it she could make out. It was a list a names with a weapon adjacent to each name. This didn’t make any sense to her Why on earth would anyone have this? The longer she tried to figure out what it was the more upset she got. “What the hell is this?”
