I had a nightmare and woke up grabbing the sheets to the left of me and breathing your name. The way I said it had a sort of desperation behind it. As if I couldn't save my self and I needed you there to protect me. I needed you and you weren't there. I sat up alone sweating and gasping in dark confusion. You have been gone for a while now but I needed you. Right then and there I needed you and you weren't there. That's how it's been though. Empty promises of "I'll always be there for you" but nothing to show for. But I now know one thing for sure. I'll never need you again. So go fuck yourself.
