Do I have to be a rapper to be written about ?
No actually, just dm me on Instagram @SuntéKami and show me some of your work as a creator, literally thats all. If you make clothes, paint, sing, play an instrument , etc.
Artist Profile: AlternateChoice
Texas based Artist/Producer AlternateChoice started making music at a young age with a keyboard he stole from his step sister. He later moved on to playing the guitar and having a passion to create Video Game, Movie, and Tv Show soundtracks, due to the ability for the songs in them to provoke emotion from the audience. He moved through multiple genre’s and started paying more attention to rap when he teamed up with friend and collaborator Hipster Mills (the second half of HMAC). Defining their music as experimental, AlternateChoice feels every song that he makes is something new and helps HMAC earn the title “Alternative Rap”. His production ranges from Punk Rock, Techno and all over the place as he continues to try something different with every creation. With an emotional and spontaneous creative mind AlternateChoice works heavily with emotions. Channeling the emotions from the artist that he is working with, working on HMAC tracks there are times where the creative process would make him angry and help him channel that emotion into the production. With this process he draws and produces differently at night than he does during the day, and usually the art he makes has a lot of tension in it.
Not only is he inspired from artist such as Tyler The Creator, MF DOOM, Danny Elfman, Trent Reznor and Toby Fox, he also looks to his day to day life and experiences such as Pain, Happiness, Love, and Hate. crediting his stand out tracks to his work with HMAC, with songs like Pull Up, Talion, HMACBAG and Sandwich, he is a huge fan of one of their newer songs titled Pocket off of HMAC’s EP March. On July 17th 2018 in Dallas Texas, HMAC entered a contest event called The Showcase Tour. Although they did not win the contest, they came home knowing that they would destroy a performance in their home town. The opportunity finally came and they did just that when they performed at their local festival “Beware The Locals”. At Beware The Locals they drew a big crowd that asked for encores. Ever since, many people post pictures or videos of them casually listening to their music and they constantly see people in HMAC merch.
HMAC has merch that was made out of his garage up until his recent move to Arizona. HMAC has made tons of shirts promoting upcoming projects, they even had the release of their legendary “HMAC” hoodies. AlternateChoice also plans on rolling out his own merch featuring his art to promote some future projects of his. He also doubles as the hype man and in away the second rapper to the group, filling in for Hipster Mills when he can’t breathe. Suffering from stage fright his first few minutes on stage can feel so uncomfortable for him. But as HMAC songs blasts through the PA system, and he sees how his music moves the crowd, influencing their emotions and actions simultaneously. He also takes the time to see his friends and his loving girlfriend cheering him on stage, lastly feeling the presence of his friend and collaborator Hipster Mills on stage beside him. He is reminded that this is where he belongs.

When will there be more articles ?
That’ll be up to how many submissions I get. Realistically i’d like to do at least 1 or 2 a week.
Artist Profile: Frank Lucra
Texas based Artist/Producer Frank Lucra had a very random beginning. Starting off by being more into video games than rapping, Frank met up with some kids on the bus who would regularly freestyle. Eventually it would be his turn to freestyle, being bad at his first attempt made him more passionate for his craft. By feeling like some of his music is a conflict of interest and a rollercoaster of emotions, Frank Lucra keeps a dope balance of some of his songs sounding pretty and other songs sounding outright sinister. With his very creative mind Frank Lucra has several ideas for businesses that incorporate his artistry, he has new creative ideas for things daily and feels like he is destined to be a innovator to something. He is inspired by some great and legendary artist such as Prince, Kanye West, Pharrell, Bon Iver, and Drake.
Frank also looks to life experiences as inspiration as well. Sampling and referencing video games from his childhood in his lyrics and song titles, such as Resident Evil, Sly Cooper, and Fallout. With his track Lindsay Lohan made back around 2016 he realized that people liked it for its pretty music box melody and bounce, he then realized that he could capitalize with his skill. His stand out tracks such as Berlin, Arcadia, Paris, and Tell Me, really showcase his rapping ability and his range pushing him to creatively feel ahead of all his peers. Frank Lucra doesn’t like performing because a lot of the music that he’d like to perform isn’t hype or energetic.
He feels that jumping around and having fun on a stage with his friends can be euphoric. Also seeing people feed off the energy and giving the crowd their energy back is something he truly is glad to experience. His first time performing was around 2015 at a show hosted by a group called Odachi. It was a small local show that was showcasing artwork, it also had live music. Frank Lucra knew he had a fanbase when he put out his project “Bad Mood Always” and performed the outro track, hearing people chant his lyrics was a special moment in his life.

Artist Profile: Hipster Mills
Texas based artist Hipster Mills has been rhyming words since a kid, but rapping wasn't always in the plan. Wanting to become a history teacher at first Hipster Mills didn't officially hop into a booth until right before he graduated high school. Thats when he became close to Alternate Choice (the second half of HMAC) and the two started to create music. Hipster Mills started making merch in high school as well, with his best friend Ryan and then as soon as HMAC started. Him and Alternate Choice begun designing and making HMAC merch out of Alternate Choice’s garage. With a very spontaneous creative formula Hipster Mills makes his music based on the emotions he feels at the time. This could range from an aggressive angry style, to a more sad emotional approach.
Drawing inspiration from people such as Tyler The Creator & Lil Yachty’s rap career’s, this gave Hipster Mills the boost he needed to start rapping and to take it serious. But most importantly Hipster Mills takes inspiration from the world around him and the people in his daily life. Having stand out tracks such as Pull up, Dicksmall, HMACBAG, 4 Chrimus, Sandwich, and his personal favorite Talion, HMAC has gained a close scope on their career and a cult like following already. On July 17th 2018 in the city of Dallas Texas, HMAC had their very first show with The Showcase Tour.
Unfortunately they did not get the win in the competition, but this sparked the beginning of Hipster Mills love for performing. With an amazing stage performance Hipster Mills feeds off the crowds energy and emotions. Ranging from climbing on ceilings, walls, and even breaking through tables, everything is planned and calculated before the show even starts. Going from writing on his bedroom floor at 4am, to being greeted by a crowd of people is the exact reason why Hipster Mills goes so hard for the loyal HMAC fans that give him the platform to feel free.
