ANOTHER LETTER FOR A BELOVED FRIEND ❤

“what radicalized you” bro EMPATHY

Anne Michaels, from "Infinite Gradation," originally published in October 2017
Love
by its very nature
is fragile
and that's what makes
true love
so powerful --
you make a fragile thing
strong.
Poets are souls are war with words
from battles waged within.
Some days life is a grand adventure,
other days it seems
an uncomfortable necessity between sleeps.
Another set of handwritten letters to send to beloved friends
All I need to do now is seal it!
Where is this love?
Painted on the clouds
Hidden in the cracks on the sidewalk
Flickering in the night sky
Behind a subtle smile
Whispered by the wind in the trees
When I go
lay me down
against the earth
where my heart can beat
with the beat of the mother
who bore me from her branches
who shaped me from dirt and bones
who will shape the next from my own
take me home
S.K. Williams Poem
Star kid,
lay down your head
don't be afraid of the dark
journey deep into dreams
stay wild and wondrous
grow up gently
and don't forget
to look up at the moon
when you've grown too old to run
