Sultry Simple Style!

Even good girls can do it!

Rock stars made faux fur, edy look famous. But torn fishnets and battered six-string aren’t prerequisites for the sexy, rock glam look.

Even the most clean-cut can simply tone down the color (do it in blush or pure white) and rein in the faux fur stardom and the attitude. This all-winter, light glam look flatters almost everyone. The make up should look natural, and hair should be down and free. This is a perfect night out look so skip a heavy bootie to keep the mood soft.

Just when I thought I had the hemline thing down and that I possessed a certain eye for proportion, a new, hot silhouette that I suddenly can’t live without had appeared: the half jacket. Half the coverage, double the exposure :) That is if you like bare midriffs of course! While it looks like a slashed jacket, it most definitely isn’t.

Check out BCBG faux fur jacket that Olivia is wearing, it makes the white cropped trousers look that much racier. It would also look fierce with a tight skirt and top. So flaunt your assets- but don’t think that just because half the jacket is missing, it will cost half the price.

An unexpected crowd is usually enough to pause or even shut down the photo shoot that requires a little bit of focusing, especially when you are working with limited space. But while photographing models in the warm, velvety Chocoloate Lab in Bethlehem we were greatful for the gorgeous backgrounds and managed to work around the frequent crowds. Place gets really busy quick and we’re not surprised!

When you visit Chocolate Lab of Bethlehem, be daring, be bold! There are alwasys treats to sample and you can easily indulge in new tastes and flavors.

A Fashion Page, presents model Olivia Swiadek. She is a beautiful and radiant, natural 5’10” stunner. She is unbelievably nice and I’d kill for her body.

For this photoshoot, John Rounds captured Olivia at both her cheerful and her most sultry- and we decided that it is virtually impossible to take an unflattering picture of the model. She has strong facial features and beautiful eyes, so she can handle any light or angle.

Out On A Balcony

In a fall season that is going to be packed to the rafters with references to the Mod era, it’s only natural that we linger just a little bit longer in summer, Hamptons-like style moments.

Summer was all about long skirts. Cropped tops were indispensable because they continued the line or color of a high waisted pants or maxi skirts.

For this look, AFP didn’t have to look elsewhere- we dipped into Free People’s and BCBG collections for inspiration. We decided to go for some doses of black and white.

However, it was through Danika’s make up work that this look received the boldest blast of high-octane color: rasberry lips looked extremely sexy with almost blinding white skirt and ribbed jet black top.

High above bustling streets of Bethlehem, PA, our team with John Rounds, our photographer and makeup artist Danika Clevenstine, and of course our beautiful model Chloe Smith was enjoying another amazing photo shoot.

A great photo captures such light and depth that you can never tire of looking at it.

Discovery runs through the fashion stylist’s veins but also it runs right through photographer’s lens! It’s that sense of discovery that’s important to my work.

These days my styling emphasizes balance, from symmetrical to bold-style.

Back to this outfit. This season the ribbed knit material is getting an update for a more polished flair. So forget strict stripe, rainbow styles and opt for sleeker lines and a more minimal look.

Great Expectations

In this post, A Fashion Page and JRounds Photography, features their first video "Feel This Way", hottest new model Chloe Smith, fashion, beauty and Bethlehem. 

We are also launching our new channel on YouTube that will focus on fashion, beauty and local business. At least that's what our curatorial team at AFP hopes for. Our mission will be to discover who's shaping the future of local fashion scene and business from the hotels we visit to the cars we drive to the furniture we buy.  Together, with our host Chloe Smith, we will scout locations and look for local precious gems.
