Before the #foxnews spin gets a chance to claim otherwise, let me tell you want I saw today in #DTLA. Kids. Scared, angry, frustrated, politically aware kids. Some had doting parents hanging back taking pictures, some clearly took a few forms of public transit to get to #pershingsquare on their own. But all of them know what their signs and and meant. Not one looked coached or confused. •• Y'all we got to remember they have more access to information than any of us ever had, including us #millenials that grew up through the birth of the internet. #GenZ knows their shit, and they have Google to help them know more about the world than I ever did at 14. Don't trash them for being too young to be political. I was political at that age, but these kids give me a run for my money. •• By and large, Gen Z makes me hopeful. These kids are tough, and I'm proud to see them taking no shit. ▪ ▪ ▪ #marchforourlives #marchforourlivesLA #thekidsarealright #gunreform #alsoirealizemysignhasamispelledword (at Los Angeles City Hall)
