something i really appreciated about Sinners is that they are classic classic vampires. like, you go into the movie and you know how the vampires work without it being explained to you or having a Cool New Twist ™️
and yet, it was fun, fresh, and unlike anything ive seen before
like, i appreciate a good trope subversion but this movie was not about reinventing vampires. it was a good reminder that these monsters are still just as terrifying as they were back when Dracula was written
