I’m so glad you’re someone who can recognise AB’s behaviour because his Tumblr fans are incredibly parasocial. It seems like they overlook the things he says and does because they find him physically attractive. Most of what I see from them is about how good he looks or how much they want to sleep with him, rather than acknowledging his behaviour

Maybe that sounds dramatic, but this kind of mindset is exactly how men end up getting away with harmful behaviour. Obviously there are people who do far worse, but excusing or dismissing someone’s actions simply because they’re attractive contributes to that culture. At the end of the day, he’s just a man who doesn’t care about the impact of what he says or does

of course lol it’s how all men get away with their behaviors but then they complain when it outright affects them. they won’t hold them accountable for his actions until they themselves feel threatened and that probably won’t happen for a while bc he caters to them
