I've spent the past few nights drenched in a cold sweat, tossing and turning on the top bunk of a hostel bed, as these thoughts of home and love long past weigh heavily on my soul. All of those old remedies which would at one time make me feel better, these days have been having little to no avail. This morning I woke up feeling better than I have in days, my mind less hazy, not a bad starting point to practice asanas before venturing out the meet the day. Finished practice and drank some water, moment later my mouth floods with that salty spit before that water moves in reverse, an involuntary spasm of my diaphragm and suddenly I'm questioning my condition and if I'm fit for anything other than laying in bed all day. Took some herbs to settle my nerves and that queasy feeling inside my stomach. Man I've been through worse than this, it's already been day 3 out here and I'm feeling restless to make the best of this adventure. There was no marked trail head and the two sketchy dudes I met on the way would offer their best advice. Keep to the right and looks for the rope at the steep part. By far this is one of the most dicey trails I have ever been on but eventually I found my way.
