Somehow I'm at 147! Not complaining though, 3 more pounds!!
5/20/17
Havenāt checked in for a while but I've hit 148!
4 more pounds to go till i speak to a recruiter.
My plateau was horrible but I'm super proud of myself for staying on track Ā the best i could.
4/8/17 So.....I'm still at 150. Haven't lost any weight in 2 weeks. I guess I hit my plateau. Gunna increase physical activity and hopefully that will help. Its so discouraging.
4/4/17 So I locked my keys out of my car right before I went running so I was super distracted the entire time. Ended up getting an uber home to pick up my keys then had to uber back to my car. BUT I STARTED MY PERIOD.šš YAY HOPEFULLY THIS WILL EXPLAIN THE WEIGHT GAIN AND ABSENCE OF WEIGHT LOSS!
4/2/17 Tomorrow starts a new week. I can do this. 2-3lbs is my goal to lose. Ideally 3 to make up for this past week. Last week was awful. Anyways. I can do this I can do this I can do this.
3/31/17 So I've kinda acknowledged that I probably won't be 147 by tomorrow morning(official weigh in). And I'm honestly super bummed. I feel so set back, I was so excited about staying on track but it just didn't happen this week. I usually start my period the last few days of the month or the beginning of the month so I'm really hoping that's why my weight hasn't budged. Apparently your weight goes back to normal when you start so I guess I'll see then. On the up side; I can do 42 sit-ups in 1 minute and 7 push-ups not timed. Its progressš¤·š½āāļø Im debating on if I should go back to just eating 2 eggs, a granola bar, and an orange. The only problems with that is that my workouts were such crap when I was doing that. I'm just frustrated bc I'm so close to scheduling an appointment. I need to lose 6 pounds. Just 6!! And its like the weight wants to stay glued onto me.
3/27/17 First official day of adding 1.5mile walk to the end of my day and I am EXHAUSTED. I already run 1.5 in the morning and I hope adding this will help with weightloss. šš¼also I need to work on push-ups š¬
3/26/17 I hope I don't get in my head too ugh the next 3 weeks. Like I don't wanna overthink anything but I think I'm going to add 1.5mile walk to my exercise to help with the weightloss a little more. I mean I've been eating when I'm hungry and not eating when I'm not as well as drinking a lot of water aaaaand going for 1.5mile runs/jogs 6 days a week. Anyways, I really want this for myself and I'm so close, I'm not looking back now.
6 MORE FUCKING POUNDS! 3 MORE FUCKING WEEKS! IM ALMOST THERE & IM SO EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT.
3/25/17 SW:165 CW:150 My weight didnāt move at all, all week. I took a laxative yesterday around 3pm bc I felt like I wasnāt being āregularā and also bc I was so desperate to see the scale say, 150. After finally āgoingā this morning, I feel a lot better, I still feel like I need to go some more but whatever. Anyways, when I was younger my mom would always mark height on a wall, the last time this happened was when I was 17. I decided to measure how tall I was then and it said 62 ½ inches!
The reason Iām so hype about this is bc Iāve been going off of the 62 inch weight limit which is 150. And thereās a chance I may have grown so Iām possibly a little taller. Iāve also heard that if your height is 'X ½ inchesā, they round up which means theyāll mark down me being 63 inches which also means my weight limit is 155.
Either way Iām planning on getting to 144 before talking to a recruiter just in case they say I need to be 10lbs under what I think my max is(150), then Iāll just need two weeks to get rid of the last 4 pounds.
SooooOOOOOooo. Iāve officially lost 15 lbs. I need to lose 6 lbs more to talk to a recruiter. Based on losing 2 lbs a week, Iāll be able to around Easter. ššššššššššššššš
3/23/17 Kinda nervous for my official weigh in day on Saturday. I weigh myself everyday so that I can adjust things but I've stayed the same weight all weekš I really hope I didn't hit a plateau, I'm too close to where I need to be for the scale not to continue to go down. š© However, my 1 minute timed sit-ups are at 37! The minimum for the Air Force pt test is 38 and I'll only continue to be able to do more so I'm really proud of myself! I need to start practicing push ups though. I mean Ive been doing planks for one minute timed so that I can get used holding up my own body weight. I'm only having to take two 5 second breaks during the plank. I'd like to be able to do at least 18 before I go to bmt so that I can work off of that since thats the minimum push-ups. I'm pretty confident that I can make up for my lack of push-ups with my sit-ups when the points get all added up for the pt tests. ANYWAYS, hopefully I'm 150 by Saturday, I need to stay on trackšš¼
I NEED TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT ASAP IM SO READY TO GET THIS STARTED
3/21/17 I took before and after pictures today and it made me feel really great! The first was from last august and I was 165lbs. The second is from today and I'm 152lbs. It's taken me forever but yay for me! I can totally tell my body looks differentš
3/21/17 Progress!šš¼ SO CLOSE! I've been kinda nervous the past couple of days bc of how close I am and I'm so proud of myself for making changes. I've been looking to see how many pounds under your max recruiters usually want you to be and a majority of people are saying 10lbs. Which means I actually need to be 140lbs not 145lbs. But based on me losing 2 pounds a week, I'll be 144 when I talk to a recruiter so if anything, I'm hoping they'll let me get paperwork started and take a practice ASVAB and maybe even the real one on a separate day from when I go to MEPS since that's when your weight REALLY matters. From that point it'll just take me two weeks to lose the extra 4 pounds and hopefully I'll be able to go to MEPS then! I'm really hoping I can do that. 'That' as in go to MEPS and take my ASVAB on two separate days. Mostly bc I've heard that if you do both in a day you end up spending all day long there. 7 more pounds till recruiter time!š
3/20/17 I really canāt believe Iām so close to being able to set up an appointment to speak with a recruiter. I meanā¦ā¦7 MORE POUNDS. That seems so crazy to me, I canāt believe I did it. The rest of this post is really just for me to mentally take note of. So again: 150 is my max weight I can be at MEPS I wanna be 145 when I talk to a recruiter for the first time. Iām currently 152. I need to lose 7. Then Iāll email my local recruiter to try to set up a meeting to get things started. I definitely am going to keep losing weight afterwards btw. I used to be 125 my freshman year and that seems like a pretty decent weight for my height(5ft2in). So basically once I speak to a recruiter I donāt know how long itāll be till I go to basic BUT Iād really like to work towards a new goal. SO ANYWAYS lol. My next goal is 125! Not gunna get ahead of myself though, I need to primarily focus on my current goal. ššš
3/18/17 BACK ON TRACK!š So proud of myself, about to go for a run a little later but Iāve done well this week! I ran everyday and ate less without feeling hungry. SW:164 CW:152
7 MORE POUNDS TILL I TALK TO A RECRUITER
3/15/17 I did some sit ups and planks today along with running. It made me think of high school.
I remember working out in high school one summer and doing sit ups and being able to feel my abs a little while doing them. I felt so strong that summer and it makes me kinda sad bc i was so body conscious but looking back I wasnāt super heavy at all, it was really just the pressure of being small like most of the other girls in high school that made me always compare myself to them. I wish I wouldāve stayed in shape š
Also, i just remembered that I weighed 125 my freshman year.
