There was a theory back in 2019 about Ty being actually a female- and....that makes actually too much sense- I'm sold.

Maybe i'm to woke but I always thought that that specific theory was based on sexist arguments
They mentioned that Ty didn't look masculine enough to be a man and that he acted very gentle and docile, as if he were a woman
And none of those things have anything to do with being trans, I'm not saying Ty can't be, it would be interesting, but clearly the way they wanted to reach that conclusion was quite wrong
yeah, but other person pointed out D-structs and D-stroy had a "throat saw" and Ty was identical to Rexxie to the point Skrap-it and neither Ty's gang could figure out, I also think his behavior tells nothing about his gender tho. But it could be just a "female mimetism" in Dinotrux, tho it doesn't make sense cause Ty is always fighting/he is never shipped with anyone lol
I understand and it could be a valid point, but I honestly think those two are a different kind of T-trux than Ty and Rexxie, A clear example is Blayde, who looks nothing like a common Dozeratops, neither male nor female, but still part of the Dozeratops family

Basically: Dinotrux has obvious sexual dimorphism between dinotrux species, tools not much(like rotillians,picktools or ottos, the wrenchtools and somewhat scraptools do).
Basically, D-structs and D-stroy are spikey and has an 'adam's apple'(a saw thingy) under their throat, Ty has none of spikes or saw and plus,identical to Rexxie. He is more 'smooth',which is a "feminine" trait in dinotrux(less spikes in ankylodumps, female dozeratops has flat nose-horns,etc)
So, I think this will be my final design for Ty!
The scar on his snout is a reference to Ty and Revvit's dialogue in the first episode, the one on his paw is from the Volcano accident, and the one on his tail and back is from the fight with D-Structs. Quick sketch of these two-
