I wish that ao3 had an option to filter warnings (and tbh certain authors) out like I will never ever want to read it and just seeing it puts me off so much that often I end up closing my browser because that content upsets me so much lmao
There is a way to do this but I can’t recall how to do it. it’s something you type into the box for “other filters” or something, I don’t remember. who knows??
It’s not a great option, and I don’t know if you can sort out authors that way, but it’s better than nothing if someone can reblog this with how to do it!
Alrighty friends! It takes some specificity, but you can do this. Let me show you how!
So I started with going to the Sherlock (TV) section of Ao3. On the right we find this lovely section! ((I know I’m going over things you already probably know, but I figure this post may go to new Ao3 users, so bear with me.))
Underneath this, I chose sort by Kudos, because that’s a quick way to find most popular fics, for the sake of this demonstration.
With those filters on, we end up with this being our first two results:
As you can see, we have Nature and Nurture by earlgreytea68, and The Internet Is Not Just For Porn by cyerus. So what if I am utterly sick of seeing earlgreytea68 on my list? Let’s pretend I’ve read all their fics, or that I just don’t like her, or whatever. I want this author out. I go to this section on the right:
In “Search within results” I type earlgreytea68 into the bar, with a minus sign in front. This gives me the following page, upon hitting the sort and filter button:
There goes earlgreytea68! But now I’ve decided that Crack is just not my thing, I’m sick of that, too, for heaven’s sake, I want something reasonable in my gay slash fanfiction about detectives that solve crimes about glowing dogs and irish megalomaniacs. Heaven forbid this get ridiculous.
Well, then I add this to my search:
Which gets rid of everything with that tag. My results are now:
Performance in a Leading Role is now my first result!
You can do this as many times as you want; the biggest problem I have is trying to filter out multi-worded tags. For example, “Secret Relationship” is hard to filter. Better to go with authors you dislike or with words like “DubCon”.
I hope this helps! Also remember that googling site:archiveofourown.org and then adding search terms will mean google searches Ao3 for you, and sometimes that works far better.
Say, you’re in your random fandom- I went with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, since I’ve been reading Iron Man stuff recently. Tony Stark is awesome.
But anyway, you’re on the page, and you see that there are 174,774 works! That is way too many for a casual afternoon’s browsing.
And you see that the first one is Peter Parker/Tony Stark and that is not your jam. It doesn’t work for you, or it squicks you, whatever. Wouldn’t life be easier if you could browse without seeing that pairing (or whatever pairing you don’t like)? You can!
First, click on that pairing tag(You may want to open this in another tab, actually.):
and it’ll take you to the page for that pairing tag. Click this button:
and then look at the address bar! The actual page is unimportant. Copy the numbers located here:
and go back to the original search page! Down on the side, in the same place you can get rid of other tags, type -relationship_ids:”the number you just copied”
Then hit ‘sort and filter’ annnd… magic!
The fics with that pairing are gone! You can also do multiple pairings, get rid of any tags you don’t like, and sort it by date or length or kudos, or whatever.
Just a quick reminder that AO3 uses Lucene as a search and index engine.
That means you can pretty much use all the Lucene Query Syntax in the “Seach within result” field.
I don’t think AO3 indexes the whole fic for searching but definitely it’s meta data. Combined with Lucenes awesome query syntax you can do pretty much every search you heart desires.
Addtional Lucene Query Syntax that has not been mentioned yet and you might find useful:
Wildcard Searches
You can use wildcard searches within single terms. For a single character wildcard search use the “?” symbol. For a multiple character wildcard search use the “*” symbol.
AND/OR
Lucene allows you to combin terms through logic operators. You’re looking for fics that are either “reunion” or “enemies to lovers”?
Just put in >“reunion” OR “enemies to lovers”< into the field
and you end up with all the stories that are either or but not both.
But wait, now you’re looking for fics that are both “reunion” and “enemies to lovers” at the same time? Now worries Lucene got you covered.
Just change it into >“"reunion” AND “enemies to lovers”“<
and you’ll get all the fics that mention both “reunion” and “enemies to lovers” somewhere in their meta data (note: it’s not just tags. It’s also title, summary …)
Boosting
You can also boost specific terms when doing a multi term search.
You can use the “^” Operator followed by a number to boost a specific term.
Say you’re interested in fics that are either “first kiss” or “bed sharing” but you’re much more interested in “bed sharing” fics and feel they are more relevant.
You can use the search >“first kiss” “bed sharing”^5<
to manipulate the order of your results in a matter that the score of every fic that contains beg sharing is multiplied by 5. Therefore all fics containing that term are given priority and shown at the top of the list.
You can also combine all of the above, target specifc fields (that’s what you did with the “relationsship_id:xxx”) and many more things.

Some of these searches can also be achieved via the “exclude” function in the search bar - this offers you for each section (ratings, category, relationships, tags, etc.) the most commonly used metadata for these fics, to check or uncheck (and thus exclude or not) as you please!
So are you obsessed with the brilliant and highly skilled but repressed rich girl falls for the energetic and super powerful golden retriever type of girl and they become ride or die for each other dynamic or….are you normal?
Just imagine Lena Luthor hearing that her old boarding school roommate Beatrice is in town so of course she invites her dinner. Beatrice is one of the few friends she actually had in her life and although they didn’t keep in touch much after she became a nun they would still send each other letters every year. She is a bit nervous about it so she asks Kara to tag along. Kara delighted to meet one of Lena’s and fascinated to meet a nun
But when they arrive they find out that not only is Beatrice no longer a nun but she also brought her girlfriend Ava. And when Kara and Ava meet? It’s like watching two golden retrievers see each other . It’s instant friendship as their hyper over the top energy feeds into each other. They are so excited and loud and have such horrible eating manners that the snooty maître d’ is this close to kicking them all out but Lena and Beatrice glares and silent threats stop him
And when they later go on for drinks at the top floor and a carefully planned assassination attempt destroys the floor underneath them with both Kara and Ava responding by immediately grabbing their girls and floating in mid air……and then they as they both exclaim “Hey you have superpowers!” they somehow become even more excited about being friends
Lena and Beatrice are both very happy that their girls like each other but they are also a bit terrified by the sheer amount of energy and excitement near them
What I loved specifically about the slowburn to Avatrice is that the romantic tension precedes the sexual tension (fingers crossed for season 3). Most canon queer ships I've seen aren't slowburn, and the only way to do that is to amp up the sexual tension, which is based on physical attraction primarily, and that isn't something you need much narrative buildup for. Romantic tension actually takes time and narrative investment to develop. Sexual tension says "I imagine having sex with you", romantic tension says "I imagine having a relationship with you", and the latter is something that just takes time to build. The reason I prefer the latter is because the attachment is not, in the initial connection, built on hormones alone, it's based on genuine attachment from a shared history. It's not characters losing their heads over this other person they had sex with and then caught feelings for, it's characters building a relationship bit by bit and then imagining a physical relationship, which then isn't based on hormones alone but on a desire to be close to this person in every possible way. It's a dynamic specific to slowburns, and now that we've had this delicious romantic buildup, I would be happy for sex to happen next season. But the fact that romance preceded any sexual advances was really important to me, and I'm so glad they did it that way.
I'm literally so giddy over Avatrice being together next season like
The teasing. Knowing now that her feelings are returned, Beatrice gives back as good as Ava gives, resulting in them being disgustingly cute with everything
They spar when they get back to the OCS because Beatrice says she's out of practice (which is fundamentally untrue but whatever) and then Ava sweeps her off her feet only to catch her and then kiss her. Beatrice says this does not sound like a good way to face their enemies, Ava asks why all teasingly, then Bea gets possessive saying Ava's her girlfriend and no one gets to kiss her but Bea
Camila separating them because they're distracting the other nuns being so disgustingly cute
Beatrice hugging Ava from behind, both casually and intentionally to dampen the Halo lighting up in public
Now that they have each other back they're like, constantly touching each other because they're touch-starved and horny because they're in the honeymoon phase.
(I guess they have sex or whatever.)
Ava walking into the OCS proudly proclaiming that she and Beatrice are now together and whoever objects to that can go fuck themselves
Mother Superion not even missing a beat saying that she'll officiate the wedding herself but the honeymoon will have to wait because there's apocalypses to avert
Camila giving Ava the shovel talk but also being super happy for them all the time like her face is permanently smirking when she looks at them because she knows her contribution to this
Them being super in sync while fighting translates really well to them being physical with each other because they know each other and they're always trying to surprise each other, which is like watching a dance and it's so precious
AVATRICE CUDDLES. I need to see cuddles. I need to see Beatrice on the couch reading a book while Ava naps against her and Beatrice plays with her hair.
This is more speculative, but I'd love to see more of the Halo doing interesting things in response to Beatrice. I don't even care what, just... Things. Exceptional things. They know what I mean.
I would like more Beatrice backstory, possibly leading to Ava meeting the parents? And it's absolutely terrible because Ava does her best to be an agent of chaos and also a protective gf and Beatrice literally doesn't know how to behave but she also loves all of it and loves Ava
Anyway, I'm just going crazy over here imagining them being girlfriends. But now that it's possible, I'm allowing myself to dream 😍

Kara stops at the newsstand outside the Lena Luthor Foundation to buy a fresh copy of the magazine. The one she carried from her apartment is a little too wind blown and a lot too crinkled from her wringing grip. Lena deserves to have nice, non-wrinkly things.
Kara turns and her eyes track up the skyscraper that houses Lena’s new headquarters. She might be uncharacteristically nervous to see her friend today, but she’s still proud to be walking through these doors to meet her. The new office, the new mission, the not-so-new name… they’re all evidence of Lena’s perseverance, her singular focus to do good in the world.
Hence why Kara had fought to be assigned the article and interview in the first place. She had taken to the task with relish, eager to show the world the many incredible facets of one Lena Luthor. She hadn’t expected the photographer for her piece to take such a… different approach. To unveil an edgier, more carnal side of Lena even Kara hadn’t known.
Kara swallows and tries not to shred the brand new copy of Lena’s cover article into tatters between her nervous fingers. She deposits it delicately (if not a little twitchily) into her bag and forces herself through the revolving doors and up to Lena’s office.
“Kara, hi!” Lena greets her with breathless wonder as Kara eases the door open. She sounds just as pleasantly surprised as if Kara hadn’t announced her visit via text message minutes before. The dazzling smile Lena tosses her way curls around Kara’s spine and squeezes, effortlessly dissipating the tension that had gathered on the elevator ride up. Kara grins back wide.
“Hey Lena,” she responds, a little hushed. The young Luthor shuts her laptop and moves to stand. “Oh no, please don’t get up on my account!”
“Don’t be silly,” Lena waves her off and sweeps elegantly out of her chair. She may not be a corporate billionaire any longer, but she still carries herself like the most expensive person in the room. It never fails to leave Kara in a bit of a daze. Especially when all of that enchanting energy is directed at folding Kara into a tingling full-bodied hug. “I was about to take a break anyhow. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“Besides me missing you?” Kara sighs over Lena’s shoulder. She’s taken to allowing herself an extra few seconds in their embraces lately. Now that they’re on sure footing again, she won’t miss any opportunity to let her best friend know how valued she is.
“We had movie night just yesterday,” Lena argues weakly. Kara hears the way her breath whooshes out of her though and she smiles. Lena may never admit it, but Kara is keenly aware of how the former CEO melts a little at the very idea of being appreciated. And Kara is a total glutton for giving Lena that satisfaction.
“That was a whole sixteen hours ago!” They release one another slowly and Kara tips her head to the side. “Today is a new day. I need my Lena fix.”
Lena’s diffident huff pushes Kara’s smile out to her ears. She loses track of time watching an imperceptible blush dust across the shorter woman’s cheekbones.
“So,” Lena begins after indulging Kara’s staring far longer than she would anyone else, “is feeding your addiction the only reason you came to see me? Or do I have something else to thank for the impromptu visit?”
“Oh!” It’s not exactly Kara’s fault that Lena’s scronchy smile and barely there perfume distracted her from the task at hand. She’s Kryptonian, not made of stone. “Actually yes!”
She fumbles in her messenger bag and retrieves the magazine, holding the cover against her chest to prolong the reveal. “Catco’s new issue came out today. The one with the article I interviewed you for.”
“Oh!” Green eyes brighten even as Lena shakes her head. “Goodness, I got so caught up with paperwork… I’d actually forgotten.” She smiles apologetically at Kara but her gaze dips excitedly to the bound papers gathered in the super’s arms.
Kara wastes no time and extends them in offering. “You’re the feature, you know. Cover and everything.”
Lena blushes lightly once more and Kara revels in the sight as she plucks the glossy papers carefully out of the extended grip and walks over to the couch. Kara follows and holds her breath as Lena turns the magazine over.
“Oh wow,” Lena whispers, a hint of a smile in her words. Kara recognizes the quick stutt-stutter of her heart as she catches sight of the cover. “I…” she laughs and shakes her head. “I honestly didn’t think they would use some of these shots. Let alone on the front page…”
Kara watches intently. Her cheeks are beginning to heat at the sight of real-life Lena spreading her pretty fingers over the tantalizing picture of herself. She swallows down her fidgeting as Lena tilts her head curiously and flips the issue open.
Minutes go by in silence. Kara follows the movement of Lena’s eyes, shifting colors as they dash across the page. Eventually her eyebrows raise, a soft expression of gratitude trapped between her dark lashes and parted lips. “Wow, Kara. This is…”
“I mean every word,” Kara smiles. “I wanted to give the world a glimpse of all the different parts of the Lena that I know. In case you missed it, you’re pretty great.” Lena ducks her head bashfully and Kara scoots a few inches closer on the couch, eager to coax a few more diffident smiles. She leans in so she can glance at the open pages over Lena’s shoulder. “I didn’t get to see the layout before it got published, but I really think the photos—”
“Wait, you didn’t even get a chance to agree to these?” Lena turns to her with alarm. “I’m so sorry!”
“What? No, it’s—”
“Oh god. I know how awful it is to have your creative agency taken away from you… I shouldn’t have let myself get so caught up at the photoshoot.” Lena rushes to absorb all blame faster than Kara can fly. Kara moves her mouth to argue but Lena shakes her head, redirects her now stricken attention to the images on the page. “How inconsiderate of me. I’d been thinking about how we discussed fashion in the interview and considered that it might be fun to put that twist in the photos. Andrea was so encouraging… She had dozens of ideas and we had such fun with the entire team, I… I got carried away and didn’t even think about how it might work with your writing. I’m so sorry, Kara.”
Kara waits a few beats. When the silence has lasted long enough to assure her Lena has finished, she reaches out and places her hand gently above Lena’s knee. The young Luthor turns to her. “It was not a big deal at all. The only reason I didn’t get to see the spread before it went to copy was because of a Supergirl emergency. Not because Andrea didn’t let me see it.”
That seems to reassure Lena somewhat. She takes a short breath and a fraction of the concern dissipates from her eyes. Kara smiles encouragingly and tilts closer, pointedly directing her gaze to the magazine for Lena’s to follow.
“Besides,” she ignores the way her own throat tightens at the combination of Lena’s physical proximity and the ideas that surge whenever she catches a glimpse of her in those poses. “I think you look amazing.”
Kara hears the reverent awe in her whisper and it occurs to her that she might sound a bit too… earnest. “I mean, uh, the entire layout looks amazing,” she corrects awkwardly.
Unfortunately, Kara’s candidness is incredibly persistent. It wants to go nowhere but out. “And you look so beautiful, Lena. Powerful, elegant, and um…” Kara hesitates long enough to lower her voice around the word that has traveled to the tip of her tongue quite without her permission. “Sexy,” she croaks quietly.
Lena’s breathing does a rapid stop-start. “Oh.” Her voice sounds paper thin and Kara grinds her teeth, hoping against hope she didn’t make Lena too uncomfortable with her compliments.
“Um. Thank you,” Lena mutters. She hedges for a second, then redirects expertly. “Are you sure it’s alright, though? I hate that I enabled Andrea to encroach on your freedom to tell the story your way. I can give her a call and—”
“I’m sure,” Kara entreats, slipping effortlessly into ‘comfort Lena’ mode and tightening the fingers wrapped around the other woman’s knee. “The whole spread fits really well with the theme I envisioned for the piece: ‘the different facets of Lena Luthor.’ Besides, I think the photographs manage to show a side of you that’s not captured in the text.”
Then, distracted by the alluring gaze of Lena in print and the warmth of Lena in the flesh, Kara adds forlornly, “A side of you I’ve never gotten to see before.”
Lena furrows her brow and the inaudible sound of her skin knitting into wrinkles alerts Kara back to reality. “A side you’ve never… but you know me better than anyone, Kara. What ‘side’ do you mean?” Lena queries, hesitation coloring her voice.
The side that screams ‘take me,’ Kara’s brain supplies unhelpfully. She manages to keep that lethal answer appropriately locked away but struggles to find one she can give that doesn’t sound absurdly similar.
“You know…” her communication skills are rapidly evacuating her mind, “the side of you that’s more, uh…” Kara squirms, straightens glasses that aren’t there, works her mouth silently around nothing, and swallows three or four times before pursing her lips and releasing the only somewhat neutral word she can think of: “seductive.”
“Seductive.” Lena repeats it like a question.
“Yeah,” Kara heaves.
Another crinkle appears between Lena’s manicured eyebrows. “Well,” she begins, sounding like she intends to explain herself, “I mean. That’s not—you and I, we…” Lena pauses again, clearly at a loss for words. It pains Kara to see how miserably awkward she’s made this.
She removes her hand because the skin of Lena’s thigh suddenly feels like fire on her palm.
“I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, Lena,” Kara moves to intercept the trajectory of the conversation and wrangle it onto more even ground. “As a matter of fact, that’s the other reason I came over. It’s… what I wanted to talk to you about. I don’t want you to feel like you have to hide parts of yourself from me.”
Now Lena looks plainly confused. “Hide…?”
Kara nods emphatically. This is the discussion she’d been angling for. “You can be any version of yourself with me, Lena. Silly, sad, tired…” (Kara can’t help the way her eyes stick like glue to the image of the Luthor sporting a gorgeous ring, her tight ponytail clutched in her own fist.) “Even the sensual side. I love every part of you.”
“That’s… um,” Lena begins unsteadily, still blatantly perplexed, “incredibly sweet of you to say. But I… I’ve never intended to hide from you, Kara. I’m genuinely sorry if it appears that way.”
Lena seems well and truly thrown, but bless her heart she’s doing her best to engage with the Kryptonian’s disparate points. She pauses thoughtfully. “I guess I’d say that any type of… ‘seductive’ behavior just seems a little… inappropriate to impose on you?”
Lena attempts to assuage Kara’s concerns with kindness but even then it comes out like a question. Kara barrels forward to try to help her understand.
“That’s what I’m trying to say—I don’t want you to feel like that’s inappropriate with me! You’re not imposing!” Lena’s brow wrinkles again and Kara tries to clarify. “I like being there for you, no matter how you’re feeling. I love acting ridiculous with you when you’re feeling silly. When you’re upset, I’m always ready to cry with you or listen or hug you until you can’t breathe. And when you’re tired I have been known to provide the best snuggles in National City.”
Lena's fond smile snags all of Kara’s focus for a second, which is why she doesn’t fully comprehend the implications of saying, “So when you’re feeling more… sexual or whatever,” the word absolutely sticks to Kara’s throat so she rasps it as best she can, “I want to be able to help with that, too. You don’t need to keep it from me. Inappropriate or not, I’m here for you Lena. For everything you need.”
Lena’s eyes widen. “You—you want to… help with…”
“Yes!” Kara nods. “You wouldn’t be imposing. I’d hate for you to have to seek that… that, uh,” she stumbles over the word pleasure and flounders dumbly for a few seconds before landing on an eloquent, “stuff… from anyone else. Not when you have me.”
Lena is openly gaping at Kara now. She stares for several silent moments before shaking her head and clearing her throat. “Let me get this straight. Y-you want me to… be open, with you specifically, whenever I’m in a sex—seductive mood?”
Kara nods again, silently encouraging. Lena proceeds with caution. “And you are offering to… what, exactly?”
“Whatever you need, Lena,” Kara answers immediately. The words are neutral but her neurons light up with images of Lena’s ponytail wrapped around her fist and the prominent tendons of Lena’s neck flexing under her tongue.
“Oookay…” Lena drags out the word. “And… you’d hate for me to seek that sort of attention from anyone else?”
“You got it!” Kara smiles brilliantly. Lena always understood her better than anyone. She watches expectantly as her friend turns this information over in her head.
“Kara…” Lena’s sigh sounds more melancholy than anything. “I don’t mean this poorly but… don’t you think that sort of attention might be a bit too… intimate?”
Kara’s throat goes dry. She hadn’t really thought anything could ever be ‘too intimate’ between the two of them. It’s them. It’s Lena. Kara hasn’t yet encountered a boundary she isn’t willing to blast to smithereens for this woman. Kara tells her so.
“Oh.” Lena goes silent. Her eyes fall to her lap where the cover of magazine stares damningly into Kara’s soul.
The quiet drags on as Lena ponders and Kara watches nervously, keeping her fidgeting to a minimum so she doesn’t break anything. She’s not sure what she’s expecting, but after a few agonizing moments it seems Lena decides on something.
When she turns back to Kara, her eyes burn hotter than the smolder that’s frozen on the page.
“Are you asking me to seduce you, Supergirl?”
It sounds like she could be joking, if either of them wanted an out. But Lena’s voice is sinfully sultry even in jest and it seeps through Kara’s pretenses like water through a sieve. She gulps and, Rao help her, caves without a second thought. She nods vigorously, captivated by the promise ahead.
Lena’s eyes widen almost imperceptibly. Even without the tell, Kara can hear the way her heart picks up its pace. The rhythm is far too inviting to ignore. Kara thinks about how it might taste different at the base of Lena’s throat or at the inside of her wrist or the juncture of her inner thigh. Evidently the drumbeat can accomplish a fair share of seducing all on its own.
Emboldened, Lena slides closer over the leather, injecting a fluidity into her movements that wasn’t there a split second ago. It makes the muscles in Kara’s fingers twitch with the desire to feel. Lena’s voice drops to a low rumble that vibrates through the couch and she leans a few tantalizing degrees closer to Kara.
“Are you also suggesting that you don’t want me to engage in any such flirtations with anyone else?”
“No,” Kara chokes out. She can’t escape the tempting notion that Lena is hers alone. “No one else,” she clarifies. “Just me.”
The shaky admission lights a furnace somewhere within her body. She can’t locate it exactly but it sends heat thundering to her cheeks, her neck, the space between her legs.
Lena leans closer and suddenly all Kara knows is the smell of her perfume. How she’d managed to survive its spell before is beyond understanding, but now it’s all Kara can do to string two breaths together without wanting to drown in the scent.
“Then tell me, darling,” Lena purrs, stretching like a cat across the seat until her mouth hovers by Kara’s ear and her hair tumbles onto the sleeve of Kara’s sweater. “What can I expect to receive if I agree, hm?”
Kara makes a bit of a strangled sound as Lena tips up and brushes her lips over the shell of her ear. She loses the battle of self-control to a full body shiver when Lena whispers a suggestion, hot breath washing over Kara’s skin. “A kiss, perhaps?”
“Yes,” is the obvious answer, even though Kara’s voice cracks open on the idea of it alone. Lena’s hum of satisfaction sends another ripple through them both. Since when are their chests touching? Kara’s is heaving wildly and if it weren’t for the booming beat of Lena’s heart, she would think her best friend was perfectly at ease in this otherwise devastating situation.
It’s wicked, the way Lena’s tongue darts out and paints a short but blazing trail over Kara’s ear. “Or could I have more? Would you give me more if I asked?”
Kara just groans her agreement, brain effectively ruined. She discovers belatedly that her hands have found the curve of Lena’s waist. They fit perfectly, kneading into the softness of her sides, keeping their bodies close.
“Any—” Kara surprises herself with the hoarseness of her own voice. She clears her throat but it does nothing at all to help. So she squeezes Lena carefully between her palms, delights in the way her friend’s sharp inhale presses outward against her fingertips.
“You can have anything you want,” Kara promises.
Lena’s heartbeat stutters again. That’s the only warning Kara receives before Lena is sitting back, putting a very unwelcome few inches of distance between them. Kara’s hands remain anchored on her waist.
“And what do you want, Kara?”
The question is a pointed deviation from the last few titillating seconds. Lena’s eyes are serious all of a sudden, earnest, boring into hers. Kara trips on the change of pace. She hasn’t allowed herself time to consider the question this way. The only thing she knows for certain is that she doesn’t want to let Lena go. “Me?” Lena nods.
Kara’s fingers flex and she looks away, nervous in the spotlight that’s been turned on her. “I… I, um—” The crinkle appears. It’s not as if she doesn’t want at all—Kara can infer that much. If she thinks back, she recognizes that when it comes to Lena, she’s wanted for as long as she can remember. But the ‘what’ is a doozy.
It’s lived as an amorphous ‘more’ since the beginning—more lunches, more coffee breaks, more movie nights, more sleepovers, more closeness. The list was never ending, but closeness to Lena lived permanently at the top. It wasn’t until Kara saw those photos—images that seemed to capture Lena’s desire, a desire of a very specific kind, and reflect it right back—that the vague idea of what Kara yearned for began to take shape.
This new ground they’re standing on is upending her entire understanding of what she’s always craved with Lena. It transforms from an intangible ‘more’ to an explosive ‘everything,’ and Kara can barely wrap her head around how this may fundamentally change their relationship, let alone how to ask for it. So she stammers helplessly, caught red-handed longing for something she couldn’t name until it turned around to look her in the eye.
Lena is wondrous. Kara has known this forever and is reminded of the fact when her best friend senses her hesitation and, instead of assuming rejection and fleeing, gathers Kara’s incongruence up in gentle hands and reshapes it into a question she has a prayer of answering.
Softly, patiently, Lena smiles. “Let’s start small,” she offers quietly. Kara blinks, breathing uneven, and rubs her thumbs across the top of Lena’s ribcage as acquiescence. Lena holds her gaze steadily and reaches up with one hand, setting it gently on Kara’s shoulder. She slides it carefully inward until her fingertips meet the overheated side of Kara’s neck.
The direct contact sucks all of the Kryptonian’s focus like a black hole. Her entire world narrows to Lena’s thumb as it sweeps lightly over the sensitive front of her throat, dips into the hollow of her collarbone and then tracks back up to rest beseechingly beneath her chin. Lena’s eyes drop heavily to Kara’s mouth and she feels them like glittering emerald brands.
“Do you want this?” Lena finally asks, finding Kara’s eyes through her lashes. She’s incredibly gracious for breaking this tumultuous realization into bite-sized pieces for Kara, but Kara isn’t blind to the unspoken question floating in her eyes. Lena is achingly vulnerable in her hands, exposing a guarded and tender part of herself to Kara, asking, wondering if she is wanted.
The notion of Lena feeling anything but treasured and appreciated borders on offensive. Kara can hem and haw all she wants but she will die before she lets Lena doubt for a second how much she is desired in every way imaginable.
“Yes,” Kara answers. The released truth leaves her light as a feather, but it charges the air as Lena exhales her apprehension in tiny, nervous breath. Kara crowds closer. Any distance feels excessive all of a sudden. “I want you very much,” she amends, ducking her head so she can press her lips to the pad of Lena’s thumb.
Lena suppresses a watery chuckle. The wetness in her eyes catches the sun and turns them a soft, mossy amber. Their foreheads gravitate together, magnetized by sheer relief. Lena’s eyes flutter shut and Kara is busy being enthralled by the way her lashes brush the tops of her cheeks when she asks, hesitant once more, “Do you want this— us… more than once?”
Another idea to consider. This answer takes no time at all. “Yes.” Kara presses forward, brushes Lena’s nose with the tip of hers. “As many times as you’ll let me.
“One step at a time,” Lena smiles, radiant even as she pokes gentle fun. “Why don’t we see how this first one goes, shall we?”
Kara thinks the force of her yes could swallow them both whole.
In the end, it’s not the dark seductress Kara encountered in print that pulls Kara’s lips to hers. It’s the Lena she knows, the Lena she loves, soft and candid and hers, that guides Kara down into the last first kiss of her life.
(“I should have known you’d be really good at this,” Kara mumbles later as they ease apart and back together again.
“At what?” Lena inquires from her tantalizing perch astride the Kryptonian’s lap. “Kissing?”
“Seducing me,” Kara corrects breathily and presses her mouth to Lena’s bright laugh. “The kissing part, too.” Her hands are still tucked tightly around the small of Lena’s waist and she’s beginning to wonder if it’s worth ever letting go. “You're good at everything, Lena. I shouldn’t be surprised.”
Their kiss lingers for a several lazy seconds before Lena pulls back, slowly releasing Kara’s lower lip from between her teeth. She pins Kara with a devastating stare and licks her lips. “Would you like to find out what else I’m good at?”
Kara’s never flown anyone faster than she does that day.)
(Later, later, during her Best Sister speech at Kara and Lena’s wedding, Alex teases them relentlessly for flirting in published print before ever figuring anything out in person.)

I'm thinking of a Lena working alone on the international space station. Alone until one day Supergirl visits her. After that Supergirl begins to visit her more and more frequently.
From then on, her (over time their) weekly updates become more and more popular.
Kara is a refugee from Krypton, still trying to get used to her powers. She’s too strong, and she ends up hurting everything she touches.
Lena is the last of the House of Luthor, and she’s determined to keep her House alive and standing, but the vultures who want her fortune and the power of the Luthors are circling.
So, much like Atalanta and Penelope and other women of old beleaguered by the unwanted advances of men, Lena devises a ruse to keep them at bay, by declaring she will marry the one who can open the veritable fortress that is Luthor Manor using the key around her cat’s neck.
56. Awful First meeting and 16. Prison AU (from this mash up thing)
[Okay hi this got... well ridiculously long lol. Did i miss the point of the mashup assignment- to do a brief overview? Absolutely. Did I have a lot of fun writing it anyway? Absolutely.]
Lena Luthor has been in prison for a little over five years when her brother finally comes out of obscurity. He hijacks every television in America with a primetime video message promising something Doomsday-ish will occur in two weeks. The problem is, no one can find him. DEO, in their infinite wisdom, decides to send Kara undercover to the prison to try and befriend Lena - the only one who might have insight into her brother’s whereabouts or plans.
“Alex, this is like a Super Max prison… what am I supposed to have done to be sentenced there?”
“Hm, good point,” Alex kicks her feet up on the desk. “You don’t give off a good serial killer vibe, so I don’t think you can sell that, and besides anything truly heinous would have had some press…” She puts hands behind her head and looks at the ceiling for a moment. “But Conspiracy to commit something…”
Alex’s smirks slowly, the idea coming to fruition. “You were going to blow up the DEO headquarters”.
Kara frowns, “Why would I do that?”
“Who knows. Keep it a mystery. Anyway, you report tomorrow. Only the warden is in on it, so play nice. Or not. But we need that intel.”
So Kara puts on the white jumpsuit, goes through the intake process, and soon enough finds herself undercover, in the middle of the yard of the SuperMax Prison for Big Baddies.
(author’s note, let’s all- especially me- suspend our disbelief on every single facet of how prisons operate lol. Okay, continue)
Anyway, Kara sees Lena sitting across the yard reading a book. She starts to make her way over, but is intercepted by four rather burly looking inmates. They, of course, wanna test her mettle being like “cute glasses, can we have them?” and Kara’s like, “oh, no thanks”. It turns out it wasn’t a request and they jump her and Kara’s just happy she’s sparred with Alex all these years so at least it LOOKS like she’s winning sort of fairly. When she looks up, she sees Lena Luthor is gone, having headed back inside. Guards are all over Kara anyway, and she gets dragged to the Warden. Warden is all “I know why you’re here and it won’t work. We’ve had everyone try with Luthor and she never budges. Just reads her stupid fantasy novels and submits appeals paperwork.”
“Appeals?” as far as Lena knows case was airtight. Unanimous verdict. Triple life sentence.”
“Yeah,” he thumbs at the filing cabinet behind him. “Writes one a week. I just shove them in there. For a genius she doesn’t seem to understand the ‘no chance for parole’ part.”
Kara goes back to her cell and lays down. She stares at the water stained ceiling all night in thought.
The next morning, she heads to breakfast. The cafeteria is packed except for one table in the back. Lena sits alone and there’s a moment where Kara wonders exactly what she had to do to get goons the ones from yesterday to leave her alone. She makes her way across the room, and slides into the bench on the other side of the empty table from Lena who is flipping pages in her oversized novel.
“Hi. Can I sit here?”
Lena raises an eyebrow, goes back to poking at her breakfast.
“What are you reading?”
Silence.
"So," Kara tries for levity. "How 'bout this breakfast huh? The cooking is kinda... criminal."
“You don’t belong here.”
Lena doesn’t look up, expression inscrutable, but Kara gets the impression she’s still paying the utmost attention to the moment.
“From what I know about your case,” Kara starts slowly, hoping she has the right angle for this first meeting. “I’m beginning to think you don’t either.”
It happens so fast. Both trays clatter on the floor and there’s a knife at Kara’s throat. Sound of the trays clattering, of goopy oatmeal oozing, is the only thing in a room of guards and prisoners collectively holding their breath, waiting to see what happens next.
Kara doesn’t move, but she can feel the blade against her jugular when she swallows.
Lena kneels on the table, crouched and breathing hard, angry. She stares at Kara, right into her soul before leaning forward. Her breath is on Kara’s ear, cheeks nearly brushing.
“Leave me alone,” she says, somewhere between a growl and a plea. “Supergirl.”
Kara gasps, and Lena let’s go, pushes off and dismounts the table. She grabs her book and storms out of the cafeteria, 200 sets of eyes following her… including Kara’s.

“But she knows who I am!” Kara hisses on the phone to Alex, after explaining the encounter.
“That is… troubling. But maybe you can use it?”
“Use it? I’m supposed to be here undercover and trick her into my confidence and stuff.”
“Well that was a long shot anyway, you’ve never been the best at lying.” On the other end of the line, Alex takes a long slurp of a soda. “Maybe this is a good thing. Just be honest. Do that genuine aw-gee-shucks heart of gold thing you do.”
“Okay yeah, that is spectacularly unhelpful,” Kara sighs. “I’ll try though.”
“Good. We’re working night and day on it here it’s just…”
“Yeah, I know.” Kara is their best hope. “Stay safe.”
“You too.”
What follows is a period of a day or two of Kara popping up wherever Lena is, trying to strike up a conversation and Lena ignoring her. Until, in the back of the prison library, Lena pushes her up against a stack of books. “Look, let me save you the trouble: I don’t know where he is and it’s not like I’d be able to find from in here.”
“Are you saying that if you weren’t in here, you might be able to?”
Lena cocks her head to the side a little, and Kara doesn’t like that smile. That smile is the first thing Lena Luthor has done that makes her look like prison is exactly where she ought to be. “Oh, absolutely.”
“What would you need?...”
Cut to Kara on the phone, and Alex being all “ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NOT. We are not letting Lex Luthor’s evil genius sister out on a leash for a snipe hunt.”
Kara tries to rid the image of Lena on a leash and focus on the objective. “She says she can find him! And I can chaperone obviously…”
Lena is leaning against the wall next to the phone booth, chewing gum and looking bored. “Tell your DEO sister if she wants to find him for good, she’s gotta take what she’s given.”
Kara’s whips her head in Lena’s direction, covers the mouthpiece of the phone. “She’s not my sister, why-’
“-because that’s how siblings talk to each other,” Lena sighs, looking at the ground.
Long story short, Alex says she’ll call her back and “for god sake stop giving away the company secrets there!”
Kara hangs up. To Lena, “She’ll think about it.”
They walk together towards the cafeteria, several other prisoners parting the way, when they see Lena coming.
“Why is everyone so afraid of you?”
“You mean what did I do to make them afraid of me?” Lena waves to a man with several facial scars, who looks like he may pee his pants.
“Yeah I guess.”
Lena sighs, her smile sad. “I did exactly what they expected me to.”
She doesn't elaborate, and Kara thinks maybe that's for the best.
Flashing forward, DEO decides like FINE, let her loose, with a ankle monitor that can be detonated remotely if Lena starts to make a break for it. Also Supergirl has with her 24/7 (there’s only 6 days left before Lex’s ultimatum). At the “release” Alex makes Lena agree to the terms, and when asks what Lena wants in return
Lena: “I gave up on the idea of equity or justice in the world about five and a half years ago. I’m not expecting to get anything I ask for.” She pauses. “A really fresh Kale salad would be nice though.”
Kara: “So where do we start?”
“National City.”
“Not Meteropolis?”
“National City is where MY office was.”
They fly there despite Kara making the point that all Lena's things were confiscated after the trial (Lena: That YOU know of) and after a lunch of Kale salad (Kara gets three cheeseburgers and Lena comments that you’d think she spent 5 years in prison herself), Lena takes them to LuthorCorp.
“I had just moved to take over this branch,” Lena says as they reach the top floor. “But then, well, you know.” The receptionist at the desk’s eyes go wide, she jumps to attention. “Relax Jess, just a quick social call…” and walks straight into the office, Supergirl taggin along at her heels.
“Hiya Sam,” Lena smiles as National City’s LuthorCorp manager turns around, shocked. “Just wanted to swing by and say thanks for the cookies.”
“Lena!” Sam Arias looks from Lena to Supergirl, face morphing from shock to frown. “What did you orchestrate for this little fieldtrip?”
“Gotta find Lex. I get to be a glorified bloodhound for a few days. Do you mind if I…?” points to the shelving at the side of her office.
“No, go right ahead.”
Lena goes over, pulls a vase and wall sides aside to reveal another room, secret lab area. Kara x ray visions it, but it doesn’t read as Lead for some reason, and Lena laughs. “Yeah, fancy that. That’s why HE is so hard to find. Borrowed my technology. As usual. Come along.”
Gonna jump ahead now and just say that the next TWO DAYS are this- Lena crisscrossing the city, the country with Kara in tow, visiting contacts, and secret stashes, and Kara is continually impressed and confused. Impressed because Lena is easily the smartest human she’s ever encountered and confused because… well? Kara likes her- a lot more than she does most supervillains- most PEOPLE actually. Really likes her. And also, well, Lena keeps flirting with her? Which makes Kara REALLY confused because she likes that too. A lot. So in between the hijinks and action- getting Kara to help her steal top secret documents, fight goons, and hack databases- Lena will turn and say something or give THAT look that makes Kara devolve into that wide-eyed embarrassed emoji.
At the end of the timeline they find themselves in a cabin just outside where Lena says Lex’s Mountain Lair most likely is. Lena’s convinced Kara, who in turn convinced the DEO, not to attack til sunrise; that she needs to work from just outside to disable and prepare to disable all the booby traps and things within. So she and Kara hunker down in the tiny cabin, reluctantly sharing the small space while Lena does the finishing touches on some of their security breaking needs.
When that’s done, they end up on the couch, fire roaring, a night cap in hand, And Kara wonders how this journey ended here.
“I have a question,” Kara asks, fiddling with her fingers.
“You want to know why I did it.” Lena takes a sip of scotch, smiling as the heat hits her.
“Yes.” Kara nods. “Because I just… You had everything going for you. You were going to start your own branch og Luthor Corp, maybe break away from your family.You had prototypes and plans and… It doesn’t make sense.”
“Because I didn’t do it.” She shrugs.
“Then what happened?”
“Exactly what I told the jury, the WORLD. Lex framed me.” Lena frowns, irritated. “He knew I was planning on taking him down myself, and that I was too…” she sighs. “That if I’d sought help they’d probably implicate me too. So he decided to finish the job himself.”
She takes another long pull, amber liquid shining in the refracted firelight. “So he left breadcrumbs, put all the paperwork and things in my name, brought me to the right place at the right time, and put it all on me.” she sets the tumbler down next to her, a bit too hard- anger and drink letting that facade of control slip just a bit.
“And you know the worst part?” And yeah, there’s a bit of a slur in the younger Luthor’s voice now. “Everyone believed it. I’d never done anything wrong before but because of my family they just,” she snaps her fingers. “Accepted it as truth. Locked me up and threw away the key.”
Lena swallows the emotion, looks down. “Do you have any idea what it’s like, to be saddled with a legacy you didn’t ask for?”
Kara huffs. “Actually I think I might.”
“Oh please,” Lena scoffs, tossing an arm over the back of the couch they’re sitting on. ‘Superhero’ isn’t exactly a burden.”
“Yeah well, my real family weren’t quite so super. They were the reason my planet exploded.”
Lena cocks her head a bit, studying Kara.
“They were too afraid to take on other people’s ideas to help,” Kara continues, her own tumbler of alcohol untouched (she said no but Lena poured it anyway), in her hands. “They thought they could handle it themselves, but the real reason was they didn’t want people to blame them. For letting it get that bad, for not interceding sooner.”
“And they sent me to Earth, to take care of my cousin, to continue the family legacy, but long story short- that didn't work out as planned either.”
“And now I’m an alien stuck in a human world, trying to broker peace between both and be accepted by either,” Kara sighs. “Everyone has ideas of who I am and expectations and I’ve played to them so long I don’t even know who I am anymore. And all I want to do is just…”
“... be left in peace?” Lena offers. “To do what you want?”
“Yeah.”
“And what is it exactly,” Lena asks, as the hand that was resting on the back of the couch slides over to Kara’s shoulder. “That you want?”
Kara looks at the hand, at Lena, and while it’s never been her forte she is at least 75% sure, Lena Luthor- beautiful, genius, with dubious intent- is hitting on her. “I… I don’t know.”
“I think you do.” Lena says, fingers now playing with the collar of Kara’s supersuit. “I’ve seen the way you’ve looked at me these past days. Even back at the prison..”
Kara’s mouth is dry. She opens it to speak, but doesn’t trust words, closes it just as fast.
Lena nods, another sad smile blooming and wilting just as fast. “You know, I always loved this cabin,” she says looking around the small room. “It was my hideaway. The one place in the world I could relax and just… be how I wanted to be.”
She leans forward, taking her almost empty glass from the coffee table. “Cheers. To being who we really are.”
Lena downs the last bit, and Kara takes a sip, grimacing immediately. “UGH, Why do you drink this stuff?! It tastes like someone lit an oak barrel on fire.”
“It’s not so bad,” Lena reaches over, gingerly taking the glass from Kara and setting them on the coffee table. When she sits back, she’s significantly closer. “And sometimes a little liquid courage is necessary.”
Then, with the same agility as that first day in the prison cafeteria, Lena shifts- throws a leg over and is suddenly straddling Kara’s lap.
“What are you doing?” Hands on Lena’s hips- not sure if they are there to create distance or steady.
“Telling you the truth.” Lena bites her lip, debating a moment. “I like you,” she smiles, eyes flashing under heavy lids. “You were why I chose to move to National City.”
“Me?” And Kara knows she should be stopping this, moving away, doing something… but Lena’s fingers are playing with the ends of her hair and she’s looking at Kara like a Kale salad after a long prison interim.
“Uh huh,” Lena nods, before leaning down, placing a soft kiss on Kara’s cheek. “For a lot of reasons…”
Kara, for her part is just… well ridiculously turned on. “Oh?”
“I’ve thought a lot about it,” Lena says, breathe hot on the shell of Kara’s ear. Hands on shoulders, Lena strokes Kara’s collar bones wither her thumbs. “A Super and a Luthor, partnering up. The things we could do together…”
“You have? Things?” and Kara starts to wonder when exactly she lost control of this situation.
“I know your heart Kara Danvers,” Lena says, palm resting lightly on Kara’s sternum before sliding up into her hair. “And I’d like to get to know the rest of you too.”
“Is this a trick?” Kara says, eyes closing involuntarily as Lena grinds her hips into Kara. Just once- but it’s enough.
“It can be whatever you want it to be,” Lena says, drawing back up, their eyes meeting. “Tomorrow, I have to return to prison, you have to return to your life, so,” Lena says, cupping Kara’s face with her hands. “What do you say tonight we indulge in what we want. Just this once. Just for tonight.”
Kara stares back, searches. She’s never been a good liar but she likes to think she knows the truth when she sees it. And Lena, this, it feels real. “Yes.”
“Yes?” Lena searches, double checks- which seals the deal.
“Just for tonight,” Kara whispers on Lena’s lips, and part of her hopes she’s not terribly wrong about all of this.

Kara is awoken the next morning by the cabin door being kicked down. Alex is first in, gun drawn, and Kara lunges for the sheets to cover herself up, “What the hell!”
“Oh my fucking- where is she Kara!?!”
Kara looks around, no Lena. The ankle monitor sits on the bedside table, with a note: “I’m sorry.”
“Oh crap.”
Kara is suited up, flies out the door and to the mountain lair front. She passes a destroyed door, 50 unconscious and injured guards, past another dozen set off and bypassed booby traps and arrives in the main warehouse- to Lena with a weird looking gun trained on Lex, who is sitting awfully calmly in his chair. Behind him giant monitors count down from 50, 49, 48, to what looks like simultaneous rockets set to annihilate… everything?
“Kara. Get out of here.”
“Ooo, Kara,” Lex oozes. “My, my. Gotten close have we?”
“I’m serious,” Lena says, eyes never leaving Lex for a second. “You shouldn’t have come here.”
“Lena- it’s over, we have him,” Kara says, inching closer. “Don’t do this- The DEO will be here any-”
BANG.
The gun goes off, Luthor’s eyes wide. He coughs, a little blood spilling from his lips. Lena walks over, he looks up at her. “Well,” he rasps, “looks like-”
She shoots him in the head, and walks over to the monitor.
Kara is SHOOk, mouth open looks from him then follows to where Lena is typing furiously, checking the monitor. It’s down to 20 seconds til launch.
“Lena,” Kara breathes.
“Wait,” she says, and then with a final stab of the Enter key, there’s a power down noise, the countdown aborted. She heaves a heavy sigh, head bowing in deep exhaustion.
In the quiet, Kara moves closer. “Lena? Why-”
“-there is no prison secure enough, no hole deep enough that he couldn’t get out of.” She looks up. “Dead is the only way the world will ever be free of him. Trust me.”
The DEO rushes in the door, 100 guns trained on Lena.
“And if I have to be in prison” she says, raising her arms. “At least it should be for something I actually did.”
She turns around, ready for her fate.
“DON’T MOVE!” Alex barks, approaching, gun still trained on Lena as she (needlessly) checks Lex’s pulse. Then, to Kara, “What happened?”
“I shot him,” Lena says before Kara can jump in. She stands tall, resolute.
“She did,” Kara says. “He went for his weapon, and she shot him.”
Lena and Alex stare at Kara. “She saved me, saved all of us Alex,” Kara continues, face stoney and serious.
“Whatever,” Alex says. “Luthor, turn around.”
Lena turns around, hands behind her back as Alex cuffs her, leads her out. Lena doesn’t spare a single glance to the brother she once had. He had been dead to her, for a long time now.
FLASHFORWARD to week later. Lena is in the visitor room of the prison. She lowers the copy of Catco Magazine she’s reading when Supergirl comes in. The cover reads Lena Luthor: Innocent.
“Good article,” Lena says
“Yeah?”
“Crazy how an average magazine reporter was able to get so much top secret evidence from so many sources to exonerate me…”
“Yeah, weird,” Kara scratches the back of her neck. “I uh, hear your release is scheduled tomorrow,” Kara sits down across the table. “What are you going to do?”
“Well, there are practical matters like unfreezing all my assets and getting a new wardrobe,” she plucks the collar of her prison jumpsuit.
“I was thinking,” she bites her lip. “Of going back to National City…”
Kara’s heart flutters a little, she tries to play it cool. “Really?”
“Yeah. Go finish what I intended- what I didn’t really get to start. Rebuild, rebrand LuthorCorp. Make it a force for good…” She bites her lip, looks just a bit more unsure, apprehensive, than Kara’s seen her to date. “And I was still thinking maybe a Super and a Luthor, working together, could still be a rather powerful partnership.” She pauses. “What do you think?”
“Yes, absolutely.” Kara nods 3, 4 too many times to be playing it cool.
“Great then I’ll see you, back at home,” Lena stands.
“Can’t wait.”
“And if you see that reporter, Kara Danvers?” Lena smiles. “Thank her for me.” She winks, and turns to head back into the prison, guards already opening the door.
This is both cute and heartbreaking. F*ck the world for fcking over Lena freaking Luthor and I hope they bust their asses in asking for forgiveness for what they did to her. Honestly, nobody but Kara deserves Lena. Just wish they get away. BUT ALSO so cute because of how they met and the progression of relationship … like ok im — bye
The first time Lena sleeps with Supergirl, it is by accident.
Or, well, not fully, of course. As the laws of consensual sex dictate, both of them are completely and enthusiastically aware of what is happening at all times: from the moment Supergirl’s boots touch down on the balcony of Lena’s penthouse, via the dutiful exchange of “are you okay”s and “just my quarterly assassination attempt”s, up to the exact second when Supergirl leans in and Lena decides to fuck it, it’s not like things will ever work out with Kara anyway.
So, yes, in a way, the whole thing is unequivocally intentional and really, by definition, not an accident at all.
It is also breathtakingly good. Not that Lena hasn’t always guessed that Supergirl would be spectacular in bed. Between her toned body and gentle disposition - not to mention a hero complex that practically spells out service top - she’s probably every lesbian’s wet dream. Lena, much as it upsets her to be so goddamn predictable, is not exempt from the group. Nor are her expectations disappointed. Leave it to Supergirl to one-up the eloquent fantasies that a Luthor brain can come up with over the course of five months of maddening sexual tension between her gay as fuck self and the flying piece of pure muscle that is National City’s resident superhero.
So, the sex is great. And deliberate. And, scientifically speaking, pretty close to perfect, judged by the high values in both quantity and quality of climaxes. Objectively the best sex Lena’s had in a long time, possibly ever. Except for one small but unshakeable fact.
Supergirl is not Kara.
