Something that confuses me abt bloodline abilities is how they're inherited tbh. Like its mentioned that basically every demon family/clan shares a unique ability, so if two demons with different BLAs marry + have children, theoretically the child should be able to inherit either right? Yet every instance of siblings we see in the series seem to pretty comfortably share the same one AND its the same one as their relevant parent so is there a special mechanism at play or something? Do demons raise only the children with the same BLA as their family line, and send the ones with the dif ability to that other family??? Do demons almost exclusively marry within the clan??? (This seems unlikely given series evidence) Do demon genes battle for dominance or are there magic rituals involved or somETHING

From what we've seen in the series, with characters like Robin having weaker abilities etc, BLAs definitely seem inherited rather than passed down as some sort of family technique so thats excluded as an option hmm. Objectively i know this is me overthinking this and the real reason every demon in a family shares an ability is because its easier if everythings consistent. But ALSO-

What do you mean in the anime Iruma is getting showered with love and appreciation on his birthday for what is probably the first time in his life.
