I had the chance to commission the lovely and talented @igrraine to do this absolutely BANGER piece of my V, Vaune Iyer, and I could not be happier with it!! She’s been needing some art for a very long time now and it is so amazing to see her exactly as I imagine her! Cannot thank you enough, this is gorgeous and you were wonderful to work with!! 💕
I think it's cute when people say that Jackie and Johnny would have been besties because I honestly think Jackie would be saying to V, "Wait! Where is he? Where is he standing? I have a thing or two to say to him about threatening to take over your body!" And then like an hour later, he'd be saying to V, "Can you ask Johnny what inspired him to write The Ballad of Buck Ravers? Seriously...who the fuck is Buck Ravers?!"
One min Johnny would be Jackie's arch nemesis and the next V would be saying, "gee thanks choom! Johnny just blipped out for an hour cause hes sick of your incessant fanboy questions."

V as a character is genuinely so funny because when they encounter some obvious Bad Guy McLiarPants throughout the story, a lot of the time they're able to suss out when they're getting led on or manipulated before the backstab inevitably happens, but because they've got a walking talking Keanu Reeves-shaped pipe bomb strapped to their brain, they're forced to walk directly into the knife on the off chance it actually does solve their problem. Local exhausted mercenary resigns themselves to stepping on the Rube Goldberg Death Trap Machine they just watched someone spend 30 minutes setting up in case the Rube Goldberg Death Trap Machine ends up containing the cure for cancer.
