Pickle for your thoughts on solar sails as a means of space travel?

DUDE. The effectiveness might be up to discussion but THE DESIGN. A Transformer based on IKAROS would look SO TREMENDOUSLY MAJESTIC. And in the way it would move too?? Like that would be SUCH a creature. It would travel sooo far other Cybertronians wouldn’t even have a map for those places. Lone ancient traveller

What about a space telescope that uses them for power? They wouldn’t have to be out all the time (and risk damage from random space debris) that way. Like some kind of distant guardian.
