Alex shook his head. “Yeah, well, this control panel was makin’ a very worrisome noise, so of course I had to touch it. Listen? All quiet now,” he shrugged.

“I think that’s going be the least of your problems. Heard that marching? well its coming in our direction.”

She looks at Jack and then to Lir . “I don’t think we should have come this far.  They are all  here. All the creatures that we have ever faced, and a few we haven’t.  Actually quite a lot we haven’t. Everything that hates us is coming here tonight. We can’t win this. We can’t even fight it.  This once—just this one time—please, we have to run. ” 

For the first time  Benny reaches for Jack’s hand, dismissing the idea that Jack and Benny were only friends. it seemed it was a lot more. 

Jack is thinking. He’s not one for running but if they really are out numbered here maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea.

“Not on your own.  And I don’t really  believe you. You are just an ordinary Human, who can bleed and can die. And you are talking crazy. This is  our time line, you cant delete a timeline because things didn’t go your way.  All those lives have to end  because of  your eternal laziness and pride.“ She scowled at Lir.

“The Time Agency has gone.” he reminds her. “How about you use that brain cell you have in your head. It is there for a reason.” he literally is mocking her.

Lir scoffed. “Not in my timeline, if you recall,” she retorted. “And, really, if you don’t want my help, I can just be on my way. Good luck with…however this goes,” she shook her head, starting to set up her vortex manipulator.

“Can you and Jack go one day without the pair of you acting like you are an pair of divorced  people.”  She shot them a glare.  “It never occurs to either of you that we are in this situation because of the Agency. “

A mistake

It wasn’t often Benny made huge whopping  mistakes and yet she had made one. “I made a mistake.” she tells her companions. “The stone statues  aren’t stone statues. They are weeping angels. Every one of them!” They don’t look like Angels that’s what confused  her. At least not all of them.

Lir did not seem impressed. Not in the slightest. “Whatever. Those are intertemporal assassins, and we need to get as far away from here as possible. With so many of them in one place, teleportation is not an option and we can’t turn our back on them, either.”

Benny frowns. Are you saying you don’t recall anything after Jack left.  You don’t remember the Toclafane? All those people that died?” Benny knows or feels time somehow changed.

Benny fell pregnant just before the year that never was. She never made it to the TARDIS when Jack clung to the edge of the ship. Benny gave birth to their child during the year that never was, living through that year and seeing all the horrors that occurred. 

Benny been a Time traveller  remembered the events, despite none of the team aware of it.
