Hey, I am genuinely asking this:
Do any of y'all know of examples of stories where the villain is transmasc? I literally do not know of a single one.
But I can name four examples of stories where the villain is transfem off the top of my head without even googling it.
They're unlocking new quantities
if you've ever noticed that indeed barely has any jobs on it lately, it's NOT just you. they started charging companies to post job listings on there and it seems to have significantly decreased the amount of posts (at least anecdotally).
other options besides linkedin and ziprecruiter:
remote rocketship (remote jobs around the world, updates daily)
hiringcafe
welcome to the jungle (fka otta)
swooped
somewhere (remote jobs)
glassdoor (also allows you to view and post on an anonymous "bowl" for your coworkers to discuss job conditions if you're at a big enough company)
you can also search company site listings with these:
site:boards.greenhouse.io "your position here"
site:*.myworkdayjobs.com "Job Title" "Location"
site:apply.workable.com "Job Title" "Location"

Im not persuading and begging you to give a fuck about trans lives you obviously think are less valuable. Grow an empathetic bone in your body and wake up and decide to care about your siblings. Or dont but im not gonna act like that doesnt make you a transphobe
quick question what makes you deserve more empathy than kill-all-tmes?
what makes you think i wouldn't defend you to a transphobe?
what makes you think i haven't extended any empathy to you as it is?
what makes you think you're more valuable than people you disagree with that they deserve less consideration
YES PEOPLE DESERVE MORE EMPATHY THAN A PROFILE LITERALLY NAMED AFTER WANTING MOST OF OUR COMMUNITY DEAD?!
Saying kill all tmes IS TRANSPHOBIC! Buying into tme/tma nonsense IS TRANSPHOBIC! It's transphobic, sexist, racist, bioessentialist nonsense. It's literally radical feminism excluding trans people, the full TERF acronym.
but why? literally why. putting aside for the moment that this isn't serious rhetoric, i don't consider 'kill-all-tmes' to be a sincere wish, goal, or literally anything but a rather petty pejorative, why would she deserve less empathy as a transgender person than you? do you think people who are violent or rude deserve less empathy? i obviously don't think people need to be killed for any of this, but regardless of whether or not a person says that, it doesn't strip them of their humanity. respect is different from empathy.
i refuse to talk past you and start talking into the future at things you might say, so you're going to have to fill me in as to why you think any of those things because i have no idea what you're talking about. if you'd like me to define transmisogyny affected/exempt as i understand it, i can, but as it stands it feels like you are operating under a nonstandard definition of it.
1. I don't joke about wishing death on my trans siblings, because that's horrible, and I love them. You shouldn't be reblogging people that do, it's fucked up.
2. TME isn't real. No trans person is ever exempt from transmisogyny, ever. You don't see transmasc people calling transfem people transandrophobia exempt; hell, I'm transfem and have been affected by transandrophobia. You can't be giving trans people labels about their oppression against their will. It's also intersexist and exorsexist, cause the false binary inevitably hurts intersex and nonbinary people that don't fit cleanly into your preconceived notions of either. It's also racist; racial minorities, even including cis people, get transvestigated constantly, and are definitely affected by transmisogyny. Imane Khelif was harassed by transmisogynists for months. TME is a useless term, and is only ever really used as a cudgel against other trans people. It's a slur.
ok. i don't either. i never will. here's the rub though: what tme describes includes literally all cisgendered people. you know this. and yet you chose specifically to act as if it refers exclusively to trans people. why? if no trans person is ever exempt from transmisogyny as you say, then clearly it's not the term that's wrong, but people using the term incorrectly. isn't it? is it a useless term or is it harmful? is it meaningless or does it mean what i say it means or does it mean what you say it should mean? be consistent.
i don't think that you should be saying that trans men are oppressed for being both trans and women. i don't think that tracks, actually. transandrophobia, were i to treat it like the antipodal term you seem to be treating it as (transmisandry), cannot meaningfully exist at all, because that would imply the existence of an oppression at the intersection of the oppression of trans people on the basis of a transgender identity (a very real thing) and the oppression of men for being men, which doesn't exist. a synthesis of two things cannot exist if one of its component parts does not exist. outside of that framing of transandrophobia i suppose i can't meaningfully, consistently characterize it as anything in particular. i suppose i don't understand the term very well. i don't know who that is, can't speak to its use as it applies to racial minorities because i have no idea what you're talking about, and i don't understand how what you're saying applies to the term TME.
it's been said many times before but i don't actually enforce the exorsexism extolled by our mutual oppressors. TMA and TME merely describe its existence. i'll admit to not being fully abreast of the discourse surrounding this but what i will say is that for a transneu person, or agender person, or whatever other nonbinary identity intrinsically excluded by the framework that again, is not proscriptive but descriptive, *i'm* certainly not going to force any label upon them they're not comfortable with using.
cis people aren't oppressed for being trans. if someone mistakes a person for being trans, that's not them experiencing transmisogyny, that's them experiencing a misunderstanding. if i get called a racial slur online, am i, a white person, allowed to claim to be affected by racism? that's ridiculous
