Reducing him to just another aggressive warrior is as bad if not worse than making him a meek healer
Stop overglorifying violence, that's the point of the iliad don't you see? He was such an excellent warrior but that didn't save him from the horrors of war because nobody is safe from it and Glory is paid with blood of heroes and the grief of the innocent

Patroclus’s fingers brush his right heel at that moment. He glances up. The prince is already looking at him. He doesn’t look down his nose. He bows his head and looks. Patroclus feels heat rise in his cheeks and scribbles numbers onto his open notebook. Charcoal smears on the prince’s foot when he resumes his measuring. The prince doesn’t seem to mind.
“No, I don’t know the story,” he says.
