[Master Thoughts] : Building Software Factories

Today I've a presentation in my pre-Msc course, in software engineering, I'm to talk about Feature Oriented Software Development, a topic under Software Product Line (SPL),  A software engineering paradigm for efficient usage of software assets.

SPLs mainly consist of 4 basic components, software input assets, the product decision which may described as the produced software feature list that composed from the assetes to give the final product, the production process and the produced software.

product decision defines what called SPL variability, this variability define the product line scope of products, and mainly used to extend this product line.

In My presentation, I've mentioned Feature model and I've introduced 2 FOSD paradigms, AHEAD (Algebric Hierarical Equation for Application Design) and FOMDD (Feature Oriented Model Driven Design), Next week I'm going to deliver search paper covering this topic in details, you can review my presentation on goo.gl.
