Signs of life!

Went out yesterday to pick up from pine cones from pine coneageddon and found some signs of life. Super surprising to find green on the aster I bought and left in the pot. Wonder if she'll make it

Ok but I have no idea where this one random zinnia came from either. I planted sunflowers all in the area this is. Not a single sunflower came up but I did have this singular zinnia

Ok but where did this one randomass petunia in my herb box come from?

Can't believe I finally have some wild aster in my yard! And it's beautiful.

Sedum is going crazy and the bees love it.

Lastly I forget the name of the last thing but I love it... it smells like toasted marshmallow/maple syrup

We installed a small pond and a frog immediately moved in

This is why my pistachio baby must be protected at all costs! She is beyond beautiful and I cannot believe with how sad she was this year she put out blooms

After the animals have had their share from our massive apple tree, this is our full yield. Lollll

Fruit was very small this year tor how much it rained compared to last year, but I see neighbor's apple and pear trees struggling too so this is probably just a climate issue

They are coming out funny shaped but that is okay. Should still taste good. They feel like they're maybe slightly underripe but the vine was dying so I picked them.

Got some clearance daylilies today and toiled a bit weeding and moving things. Got the black raspberry bush contained to a trellis so I can access my poor ornamental grass beneath. Also started digging a hole to move my dogwood but then decided I want 2 more Japanese maples... I just need to find some at a not outrageous price.

Maybe I'll try propagating a few cuttings again?

Well

At least my hydrangeas are loving this weather.

Even pistachio over there, who I presumed was dead, is going to put out a tiny bloom

Tall phlox (I think it's swamp phlox) blooming finally

Also lots of friend seed updates. Yarrow looks small but I'm hoping it'll survive through winter and do stuff next year.

These beautiful red lilies are probably going to be the last lilies to bloom. I forgot I had these ones!

But also the C L U S T E R is beautious. I doubt if these survive that I'll ever get this again but it's gorgeous here and now!
