Life has been busy, but I made to NYC to see Rocky Horror on Broadway, and my God was it worth it. They kept this production exactly as camp and queer as it should be. They kept this casting was excellent. Everyone was great. Costuming, gorgeous. Staging, wonderful. If you can make it, you should go.
It was wonderful to sit in an audience with my fellow corseted, fish-netted, feather-boa-ed kin.
It’s true, these men have been SERVING all season.

But seriously, Michael B. Jordan, I’ve been watching his stuff for over a decade now, so freaking deserved. His performance in Sinners was astounding, as was the film overall.
Who ever is styling them for all of this press, thank you.

absolutely flabbergasting to see people who have so enthusiastically succumbed to despair. like okay denethor, but some of us are gonna actually face the armies of mordor in battle nonetheless.
The thing about Denethor is that he not only succumbed to despair, he wanted to ensure that Faramir succumbed with him. Similarly, a lot of people now are not only succumbing to despair, they're actively proselytizing despair, trying to convince others to join them in their hopelessness. Despair is apparently lonely and they want company in their self-immolation.
btw denethor succumbed to despair bc he was doomscrolling on the palantir. Sauron tweaked his algorithm so he only saw bad news, and he fell into the trap of thinking the world couldn't be saved.

December is usually a bland month for me, but this show brought so much joy and enthusiasm each week into my normal grind. In a year that was full of absolutely terrible things happening, it was nice to take in a story that you could tell was well crafted, lovingly acted, and just overall cared about.

This is so disrespectful to Anthony Mackie/Sam Wilson. I’m glad Mackie stays booked and busy, because Marvel/Feige /his fellow marvel actors do not appreciate the work and talent he puts forth. Massive disrespect from Evans as well who PREACHED about leaving Marvel, handing Mackie the mantle, and moving on. Evan’s flopped on his face outside the Marvel franchise because he has no ethic and will to hone his craft, and immediately crawled back to Marvel. He should have moved to the woods with his mail-order-bride like he said he wanted SO many times over the last few years. Just absolutely no respect coming from Evans and Marvel Studios about who the character of Steve Rogers is, and the anti-nazism ground he was built on. They can all get fucked at this point.
I wish Mackie well on his numerous other projects.

Babes, let it go. It’s called the “sophomore slump” and it’s so common it has a name. Also, the headline doesn’t even mention the title of the movie they’re talking about 😂.
It wasn’t a good story, women aren’t feeling the whole “let me run back to the man-child who never changes” story. It was also poorly acted and your mist notable actor was in it for about 30 minutes. Read the room of what society wants to see, and you’ll get somewhere.
