Quinn looked on puzzingly at Puck’s words as he took her by the hand. That look of confusion quickly faded though and was replaced with pure love as he spoke. She knew Noah Puckerman loved her, and she loved him, but she had no idea his love for her was really to this extent. She should have known though. After all, it was her injury just a couple weeks before the finale that helped Puck realize he loved her to begin with. The two of them were far from traditional in that aspect of realizing their love for one another.

His words though were incredibly sincere and heartfelt. She could tell that much just from the tone of his voice and the softening features of his face as he spoke to her. Watching him kneel down, Quinn let out a soft laugh, and her hands flew up to her mouth in shock as happy tears began to form in her eyes. “Yes,” she whispered with a furious nod of her head. Quickly, she pulled him up to her level, pressing her lips to his for a passionate kiss. In the process though, she accidentally knocked him off balance and knocked him over, somehow managing to keep their lips locked in the process.

Puck grinned when she said yes to him. It was nothing like he had ever imagined, to have her in his arms. He laughed as she knocked him over, with his arms still around her and he kissed her again, as if nothing else happened, nothing else was going on. The room cheered and laughed along as they both landed on the floor, but everyone knew what was going on. Or at least, that was what the plan was. Only Quinn and the audience had no idea what was coming.

When he finally came to, he grinned and pulled them back up onto their feet again. He still was laughing to himself that Quinn had actually managed to knock him over. “Mmm...” he hummed happily, before taking Quinn’s hand and slipping the ring onto her finger. “I love you, Quinn Fabray,” Puck said softly with a smile as he kissed her once more.

Quinn let out a laugh at the small nickname for her as she went willingly into her boyfriend’s waiting arms, kissing him back longingly when his lips fell to hers. “Oh yeah? You really went through all this trouble just to come surprise me here at the finale?” While she was certainly glad to get to see Puck’s face again in person, she couldn’t help the feeling that there was still something more to this surprise. What it was though, she would never expect. She had no idea whatsoever that all her friends from the show were in on this and were watching with anticipation for what was about to come. She loved him though, and she knew he loved her too, so whatever this was about was bound to be something good. Right? “Oh?” she questioned, her eyebrow shooting up. “And what would that be?”

Puck kissed her and pressed their foreheads together. “Yeah, I did,” he said with a hum, watching her. She still had the look of great surprise on her face. Well, it wasn’t going to end there. “Since I’m here and we’re back on the stage where it all started? I think I’m feeling a bit sentimental,” Puck winked. He took her hand. 

“I love you, Quinn. I know when we first met, I was the guy who would just flirt relentlessly with you. We had our shares of ups and downs but came out as champions in the end. There’s nowhere I’d rather be than with you. And all those weeks away only made me realize that more. All those weeks away made me realize just how lucky I am to have someone like you in my life and what opportunities I’ve had because of you, and it’s something that you and I have. Love is precious. You taught me that, and I don’t want to look back. I love you so much.”

He knelt down and pulled out the ring from his pocket. “Quinn Lucille Fabray, will you marry me?”

Quinn was still confused as Erin announced that they had a surprise for her and Mark. She wasn’t expecting anything, so what could it possibly be? Just then, she heard a very familiar voice and her eyes went wide in excitement. She would know that voice anywhere. She had spent 13 weeks with the person behind it just last year before he was taken from her to go overseas after their big win, but it couldn’t be him, could it? He was still overseas as of the other day when they spoke over Skype. Turning towards where she heard his voice coming from, her hands flew to her mouth to cover her excited squeal upon visual confirmation that it was indeed her boyfriend there. “Noah!,” she squealed in excitement, pushing away from Mark. “What are you doing here? I thought you were still overseas, you jerk!”

“I missed you too, sunshine,” Puck snickered, holding his arms out for her to hug him. He laughed and kissed her. “Well, it’s a little thing I like to call extra planning,” he said. A lot of extra planning. But he shrugged it off as if it really were no big deal. So yes, his plan had worked out. It took a lot of planning and phone calls to make sure even his commanding officers would be okay with him taking some time off to create this surprise. His mom and sister were in the audience and they knew what was coming up next--he had to make sure they didn’t tell anyone. Because every one of their close friends were in the know, Quinn had no idea what was going on and it was the first time Puck actually put in the effort for anyone outside his mom or sister. “You were amazing out there, babe. I think I have something that could make it even better though.”

Quinn was hugging Mark as they waited for the final results to be announced on stage at The Grove. It was down to them and Disney star Milo Manheim and Witney Carson. Tom and Erin had the results in hand. “After ten grueling weeks of competition, it is now time to announce the winner of Season 27,” Erin began. “Milo and Witney, Mark and Quinn… The winners of Season 27 are…” Tom drew out. Quinn hugged Mark tighter as the anticipation from waiting built. The sound of the envelope opening seemingly rung out loud in the silence. “Mark and Quinn!” Tom finally announced. Quinn felt her jaw drop in disbelief. She and Mark had done it. They had won after all their hard work this season. Mark hugged her tightly as the rest of the cast swarmed around them, wanting to congratulate the new winners. “Now, before we give you guys your trophy, we have something else for you,” Erin announced. Quinn felt her brows furrow together in confusion. What else could they have for she and Mark? She didn’t know about anything else anyways…

Puck had been waiting for this moment since they had won. They were officially a couple and things were going well. His deployment delayed plans a little bit but he knew Quinn was more than proud of him and they both were looking forward to seeing each other again. He concocted the plan with Sam and Finn, to surprise Quinn for the finale, and what more, it was perfect since he had bought the ring and he was ready to go. There he was, waiting in his uniform in the back of the audience. Hopefully no one had spotted him and he had made arrangements to keep his presence hidden. Oh, and Mark was in on the plan too, so he made his way to the dance floor, waiting to see his girlfriend’s reaction to him standing right in front of her. “Well, fancy seeing you here,” he teased her as the audience cheered and the space was made for the two of them, all eyes were on them. Here goes nothing. Puck grinned widely, giving her a teasing look. “Quinn.”

Quinn couldn’t help smiling at the screen, seeing her boyfriend’s face. It had been nearly a year now since they had actually seen each other in person, but they were making it work between them with Facetime and Skype calls like they were doing now. “Where are you?” she asked, taking in the background. It looked like his base, but it also looked different. Had he been moved to a new room? “Oh, you know. The usual. I’ve been busy trying to choreograph this freestyle for Mark, and I’ve been trying to get everything okay’d by the producers,” she explained, running a hand through her messy blonde hair. “I am,” she beamed, “I really think Mark can win it this season. He’s been awesome with learning the choreography every week while also shooting for Riverdale. Enough about me though. Any idea how much longer it could be before you come home? Your sweatshirts can only hold your scent for so long.”

Puck smiled back. “Hmm?” he asked, trying to misdirect her question. “Same place as always. They’re using the other room right now. Sorry, this one doesn’t have much light...” he said, wrinkling up his nose as he looked around. “That’s awesome. I’m so excited to see it, babe,” Puck smiled at her. “Soon. We’re already getting everything set and all the paperwork ready for that... so soon,” he nodded as he shifted slightly in his chair and chuckled softly. “Don’t worry, when I get home, you’ll have me instead of a sweatshirt,” he winked. “I can’t wait to see you,” he said, biting his lip. “Have you talked to Sam or Finn lately?” he asked, casually bringing up the names of his friends.

Quinn was on her laptop, checking her Twitter feed between final calls with the DWTS producers regarding the freestyle she and Mark would be doing that Monday night for the first night of the season finale event. As she was about to click on her notifications on Twitter, her laptop started emitting the familiar Skype ringtone. She smiled at the screen, seeing Noah’s name and picture pop up, indicating it was him calling her. Hitting answer, she quickly fluffed her messy hair while she waited for the call to connect. “Hey, babe!” she greeted, “I’ve missed your face!”

“Hey, babe,” Puck waved into the camera as he got more comfy in his spot. Perfectly angling the camera so the background looked like a generic military base, he made sure nothing gave away his actual location--careful to have turned off the GPS marker on his Skype. “I’ve missed you too, Qunn,” he smiled. “How are you? I hear you’re in it to win it this season again,” Puck winked at her.

Puck turned on his computer and logged onto the base’s network. He opened up Skype and clicked on Quinn’s name. So far, everything was going as planned. He was already almost in L.A., having had landed in Sea-Tac airport only that morning. It was part of what he had put together as his surprise for Quinn. Not telling her he was back in the States, and having bought the ring when he was back in New York. It was all very put together. His two best friends Sam and Finn were in on it and they were already in the city ready to step into the picture when he needed them to. His mom and sister had vowed to keep quiet about the surprise. And then there were Quinn’s parents and Frannie. Russell knew how to keep a secret. Frannie, he could live with her squealing into his ear on the phone but Judy was like his own mother who probably needed reminding that this was a surprise. Waiting for Quinn to answer, he ran a hand through his hair. He couldn’t help but be a little nervous, though. Noah Puckerman settling down? Who would have thought.

We are now in current time! Quinn is currently competing on DWTS Season 27 with actor Mark Consuelos. Season 26, Quinn competed with Chad Michael Murray and came in 4th place, being eliminated after the first night of the finals. Noah was deported overseas a couple months after their season ended. They have kept their relationship going with frequent Skype calls and Facetime. Noah is currently working on getting discharged from the Air Force

Where to begin? Well, first of all I am so incredibly proud of you and all the hard work you have put in this season. Because of you, not only have I been able to grow as a dancer and choreographer, but as a person as well. I can honestly say that this season has been my favorite and it’s because of you and all the fun we’ve had. Know that I’ll always believe in you and all the great things I know you’ll end up doing in the future. Know that no matter the results, I’m very proud of you. We did so many great things this season, and I wouldn’t change a single second of it. Not even me getting injured because we realized that we love each other. Know that I’m madly in love with you and I’m so very proud of you.

Puck pulled Quinn close to him into a deep kiss. After weeks of arguing, teasing, bickering, dancing around each other, he finally gave in and kissed her like she was air that he needed to breathe. He had never been so deeply in love with anyone before; Quinn drove him crazy but he was crazy about her. Being a military man made him stronger mentally and Quinn gave him the softness that he needed to be a better man. 

He looked her in the eyes once he had pulled away, watching her expression. 

“I love you too.”

Week 9 - The Semi-Finals:

This week, each couple chose an additional eliminated pro dancer or troupe member to join them for a Trio dance, as well as performing a dance paying tribute to a famous perfect scoring dance that has been done on a past season. Quinn & Noah got Emma Slater and they performed an Argentine Tango to “Exes and Ohs” by Elle King, and a Jive to “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner, as originally performed by Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas in Season 23. Quinn challenged Noah with matching Mark’s energy in the dance as well as learning the double cartwheel they had done at the end of the original dance. Quinn again wore a knee brace for both dances. Quinn says their Jive has been “The most fun she’s ever had” on the show so far. Also, Noah tells Quinn he loves her off camera, but she doesn’t exactly say it back.

Week 10 - The Finals:

This week, each couple performed a dance of their choice. Most couples opt to perform one of their poorly scoring dances again to try and improve their scores. Instead, Quinn and Noah opted to perform a Contemporary to “Perfect” as performed by Leroy Sanchez. Each couple was tasked with performing a Freestyle. Quinn chose the song “Marchin’ On” by OneRepublic to create a military feel for their dance. This week, Quinn got to meet Noah’s friends Sam Evans & Finn Hudson, who he was on the train with. The couple introduced Sam to fellow finalist & competitor Mercedes Jones while Finn had his longtime girlfriend Rachel Berry with him. Quinn finally tells Noah she loves him in a note she gives him before the show.

While there is no video, of their actual contemporary, it would sort of be based on this one, but set to the song Perfect.

Week 7 - Halloween Night:

The remaining eight couples formed 2 teams of 4 to perform a Team Dance to a Halloween inspired song, and then each couple performed an individual dance. This week, Quinn & Noah joined Mercedes Jones & Derek Hough, Sadie Robertson & Mark Ballas, and Channing Tatum & Brittany Pierce for the team dance to “The Monster Mash.” Quinn & Puck also did an individual Viennese Waltz to “You Don’t Own Me” by Grace ft. G-Easy from Suicide Squad where they dressed as Harley Quinn & Joker and nearly kiss at the end.

Week 8 - The Quarter-Finals:

Each couple performed two dances for scores. Quinn & Noah danced the Quickstep to “S.O.B” by Ray Chew and the Charleston to “Bad Man” by Pitbull. This week in camera blocking rehearsals, Quinn got injured performing a trick in their Charleston. She wound up landing wrong, and she felt her knee give out on her. She was able to shake it off and continue dancing, but then it happened again later in the dance. She was crying and upset as the show’s physical therapist inspected her knee, saying she wants to keep dancing with Noah considering how close they are to the end of the competition, and that unless she is told specifically to stay off of it, she’s dancing. Noah became very protective over her, saying he doesn’t want her further injuring herself. This is where Noah realizes he is truly in love with Quinn, and vice-versa. Quinn wears a knee brace during both dances.

Week 2 - Most Memorable Year:

Each couple danced to a song to honor the celebrity’s most memorable year. Quinn & Noah danced the Waltz to “America the Beautiful” to honor the year that Noah joined the Air Force. Noah’s mom and little sister Sarah both spoke during the package about Noah and how much good joining the Air Force did for Noah.

Quinn requested this song in particular because Noah is always commenting on her butt, and also so they could have a fun/goofy number after having to be serious the week prior. This is the first dance they have been able to do and have done a lift in a routine.

Week 4 - Movies Night:

Each couple danced a routine to a song from a famous movie. Quinn & Noah danced the Rumba to “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing. This week, Noah’s mom and little sister Sarah came to visit and sat in on rehearsals as well as sitting in the week’s audience. Quinn and Noah rehearsed the famous lift like they did in the movie: by going to the lake. They had a lot of drops, laughing, and maybe a near kiss or two ;)

Week 5 - Disney Night:

Each couple danced a routine to a song from a Disney movie. Quinn & Noah danced the Paso Doble to “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan. They picked this particular movie because of the military elements to it since Noah is in the military. For part of their training, Noah took Quinn to an empty field where he taught her to use a bow staff, which they incorporated into their routine.

Week 6 - No Theme Night:

This week each couple danced an unlearned style. Quinn & Noah danced the Cha-Cha to “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE. This week, Quinn & Noah took their training to Texas so Quinn could serve as Maid of Honor in her older sister Frannie’s wedding. Noah met Quinn’s family members, and while at the wedding, he and Quinn would up sleeping together after a few too many drinks at the reception & unofficially begin their relationship. The sexual tension between them definitely slipped into their performance this week.
