All Identity Definition Discourse is Stupid

Like, queer identity discourse is just the absolute bottom of the barrel. Unironically squabbling about definitions is stupid. Definitions are just a guideline for what words generally mean. What they actually mean is entirely context dependent.

A word being commonly used in a way that technically doesn't match the definition is an indictment of the definition. The only way for a word to be used wrong is for it to detract from what the speaker was overall trying to convey.

There is no correct answer to a question like "What is a definition of lesbian that precisely excludes everything that isn't a lesbian and includes everything that is a lesbian?" because it's a stupid question to be asking in the first place. No definition does that. Language is incredibly ambiguous and imprecise, and realistically always will be.

Pese que seguramente Azula admiré los dragones, tener la apriencia de uno es muy diferente cuando antes fue una humana que probablemente se jactaba de su belleza. Quería adaptar el cuento en el mundo de la serie, con su cultura occidental y si es posible retratar la personalidad de los personajes.
